Research On The Strategies Of Cultural Landscape Conservation And Renovation In The Historical Areas Around The Liyunhe In Huai’an

As urbanization process has accelerated in China,modern transportation such as railway and aviation have replaced the traditional land and water transportation.The use frequency of the Grand Canal in China has reduced dramatically,cities and historical areas around the Grand Canal have also been negatively affected.However,the protection of cultural heritage of the Grand Canal has been paid more and more attention.Since 2014,the Grand Canal has been officially listed in the world heritage list,the conservation and inheritance has entered a new stage.The conservation and renovation of cultural landscape in the historical areas around canal is increasingly important.Although,after years of exploration,canal protection represented by the planning and construction of the Grand Canal National Park has been effective,the pace of construction and development is still not unified,conservation and renovation of cultural landscape in the historical area around canal which foundation is not ideal still need to be improved.Based on the study of Hexia Ancient Town and Qingjiangpu scenic area of Liyunhe Cultural Corridor,this paper uses the methods of literature analysis,field investigation,evaluation analysis,induction and comparison.Firstly,this paper studies and analyzes the relevant literature and cases of canal landscape and cultural landscape in historical areas at home and abroad to understand the current research progress.On this basis,this paper analyzes the constitution elements of the cultural landscape in the historical area around canal from the meso and micro perspectives,and constructs the evaluation system based on the material feature,cultural value and current conditions.Secondly,this paper analyzes the balance,the goal value orientation,and determines the principles of conservation and renovation.In order to guide the overall direction of conservation and renovation strategy,this paper interprets the relevant planning and construction of the Grand Canal in Jiangsu Province and defines the development orientation of Huai’an Liyunhe in the upper planning.Finally,through the field investigation of the cultural landscape elements and the current situation of the cultural landscape in the two areas,the paper compares and evaluates the research results,analyzes the current situation and development potential of the cultural landscape in the historical areas around Liyunhe,and puts forward the conservation and renovation strategies.This paper comprehensively analyzes cultural landscape constitution system of the historical areas around the canal from the meso and micro perspectives.By comparing the two typical historical areas of Hexia Ancient Town and Qingjiangpu scenic area of Liyunhe cultural corridor,this paper sums up the current characteristics of cultural landscape in the historical areas around Liyunhe,and puts forward targeted conservation and renovation strategies from two perspectives which in a certain degree is of innovation.This research path is helpful to a clearer understanding of the cultural landscape characteristics and conservation and renovation direction of the historical areas around the canal,which also provides a reference for other canal cities.
