Research On The Conservation And Renovation Of Jinan Commercial Port Area, Based On The Theories Of Historic Urban Area& Historical And Cultural Scenic Area

Jinan was announced as the second batch of the national historical and cultural city in 1986.And the commercial port area of Jinan is one of the several survived historic areawith complete historical scenic.Its unique scenic of modern time will be the major bright spot and characteristics of its future development. Since the commercial port started in Jinan in 1904, it has witnessed the development of the city opening to the outside world. Up to this day, it urgently needs industry upgrading and replacement of function to update and reuse itself.This paper takes commercial port area of Jinan as research object,focus on its necessity and concrete strategy forprotection and renewal as an important part of Jinan.Based on the theories of historic urban area along withhistorical and cultural scenic area, the author thinks that the commercial port area should be delineated as a historical urban area of Jinan.But this area also can adopt the protection method of historical and cultural scenic area according to the characteristics and current situation of this area.The full paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, briefly introduces the background, significance and research framework of the topic.The second chapter is a summary for the domestic and foreign related research and classical case, focuses on the development of the protection of historical and cultural scenic area in China.The third to the sixth chapter is the main part, introduces the historical origin and current conditions of the commercial port area of Jinan, sum up its historical and cultural characteristics. Propose the commercial port area as a historical urban area, and put forward the protection and renewal strategy combining with the case study of protection of historical and cultural scenic area.Finally, the last chapter is a summary of the research, and put forward the next prospect of the future work.This paper aims to learn to the domestic and foreign research and the classic cases. Carve the paths and methods of protection and renewal, combined with the actual situation of commercial port area of Jinan. I hope to provide some reference to the renaissance of the modern historical area of the same type, so that this research can haveits use value and realistic significance.
