The Srudy On Integrated Design Of The Columbarium Building Module

The columbarium is a concentrated three-dimensional type of ashes placement building.Based on the engineering practice and related design research of the columbarium series projects in Jiangning District,Nanjing,this thesis explores how to use modular integration methods to optimize the functions of columbarium buildings and improve efficiency while taking into account momumentality expression.The thesis first puts forward the problems in the columbarium series projects in Jiangning District: the ash storage grid is separated from the architectural design,and the local facilities and equipment are chaotic,which not only limits the functional efficiency,but also leads to the lack of architectural monumentality.At the same time,it points out the modular characteristics of each item and the relevance between them.Taking this as a starting point,through the analysis of typical cases,it is proposed that the integration of building modules is guided by optimizing functional efficiency,and then develops openness,commemorative and other spatial qualities.These all inspired the application of the integrated method of building modules in the architectural design of the columbarium.On this basis,the third chapter divides the building of the ashes hall into three scale-level modules,namely the ashes storage compartment,the ashes storage grid and the ashes storage room.The discussion is carried out from the two perspectives of integration and organization to ensure functional efficiency.Pursuing the expression of commemorativeness on the basis of this.The grid position can achieve the balance of collective memoriality and individual memoriality through the integration of the three functions of storage,sign,and worship and the partial break of the organizational order;the grid can be integrated with building components and facilities,determinants and peripherals.The targeted use of organizational methods strengthens the sense of stability and awreness of place;the integrated treatment of the ashes storage room aims to integrate the material elements such as grids,structural components,lighting and ventilation components,facilities and equipment,and improve efficiency,and build through the relationship between them monumental atmosphere.Finally,based on the initial plan of Lukou Columbarium,a model of ashes storage room was proposed by applying the above design and research.And use this model as a reference object to optimize and adjust the ashes storage room in the implementation project of the Guli Columbarium,to verify the potential of this model to adapt to specific conditions.
