In 2020,China’s GDP will exceed 100 trillion yuan,of which the provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai in the Yangtze River Delta region will reach 24.47 trillion yuan,accounting for 24.08 percent of the total GDP.Construction industry output value 7.38 trillion yuan,accounting for more than 30.17%.The healthy development of the construction industry is of great significance to the sustainable growth of the national economy.Since the reform and opening up,China’s economic growth rate has shocked the world.Especially under the influence of the current epidemic,China is still recovering strongly and will become the only economic entity with positive growth in the world by 2020.However,as China’s economy enters the new normal,China’s economy has gradually shifted from the high speed development in the past to high-quality development.At the same time,under the influence of national macro-control policies,construction enterprises are faced with the test of transformation and upgrading to varying degrees.ZJ Company is a central construction enterprise established in 2016.It is committed to becoming "the main force of the 8th Bureau to explore the market in Zhejiang,the pioneer of China Construction Engineering in Zhejiang,the practitioner of the 8th Bureau’s innovation and development,and the leader of the peer enterprises in Zhejiang".However,due to the lack of clear development strategy and targeted development measures,ZJ Company failed to reach the expected development goals in the past five years.This paper studies the current development status of ZJ Company and puts forward solutions.In this paper,ZJ company as an example,first to the enterprise development strategy related concepts are expounded.Then,through case analysis,the internal and external dimensions of ZJ company are analyzed.The internal environment is analyzed to analyze the development status,organizational structure and product structure of ZJ company,and the external environment is analyzed to analyze the macro environment and industry environment.Combined with PEST analysis,the analysis is carried out from four aspects: politics,economy,law and technology.From the five forces of "supplier","buyer","competitor","substitute" and "potential entrant",this paper analyzes the problems in the current development of ZJ Company and makes countermeasures.Finally,through SWOT analysis,the overall development strategy of ZJ Company is formulated from four dimensions of internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats.According to the situation of strategic analysis,the strategic positioning of ZJ Company is diversified strategy.In terms of operational strategy,the strategic clock is used to position the company as low-cost,differentiated and mixed strategy for different product types.It is proposed that ZJ Company should stick to the traditional advantages in the field of housing construction,vigorously develop infrastructure business,actively expand investment business,and strengthen joint bidding to ensure an invincible position in major project bidding,so as to continuously expand the popularity of ZJ Company.Hope that through the research of this paper,it can also provide some reference for other enterprises in the construction industry.
