Research On The Development And Evolution Of Public Gardens In The Main Urban Area Of Chongqing(1891-1997)

As the birthplace of Bayu culture,Chongqing has a history of more than 3,000 years.Since modern times,Chongqing has always been an important political,economic,and cultural center in the southwestern region.Its unique geographical location and historical position have enabled it to "get the first place" and then "open the first place" to take the lead in contact with Western culture.So it has an extremely important position in modern Chinese history.Under the background of landscape and cultural globalization,the city’s personality and regional history have been paid more and more attention,and the development and construction of urban public gardens has also become one of the core competitiveness.As an outgoing,open and inclusive garden space,public gardens have natural landscape and cultural heritage,which not only plays an important role in the urban environment,but also contributes to the future construction of urban gardens,the inheritance of regional spirits,the shaping of urban public spaces and the promotion of folk culture All have inestimable value.Therefore,this article takes time as the order,selects the period of 1891-1997,and based on the comparative analysis of historical literature and previous research results,systematically sorts out the development context and characteristics of modern public gardens in Chongqing.The research content of this article contains three parts.The first part is basic research.The construction environment for the development of modern public gardens in Chongqing is explained,and the prototype and environment of public gardens are analyzed from three aspects: nature,society,and historical resources of gardens.The second part is to sort out the context.Starting from the background of different historical stages in modern times,the historical development of modern public gardens in Chongqing is divided into five periods: conflict development period,evolution acceptance period,construction adjustment period,wandering stagnation period,and vigorous development period.In modern times,after a series of ups and downs,Chongqing ’s urban development has accelerated or stalled.Public gardens have been built,renovated,and restored on the basis of the previous era.The influx of Western garden ideas has also led to the creation of new Changes have produced differences and diversity.Summarize the construction and construction characteristics of public gardens in various periods,sort out the characteristics of their times,understand the historical transformation of various gardens,and use graphic displays to analyze their changes.The third part is a summary.Analyze the foundation of modern public gardens in Chongqing,find out the driving force behind it and the changes of the times,list its representative garden cases,and summarize its evolution mode and cultural connotation.Explore the relationship between "urban development and public gardens" and "public gardens and public life".This shows that as one of the main contents of urban construction,public gardens have become an important part of the urban ecosystem and urban landscape.Properly arranging various types of land,in-depth use of green space system planning ideas,combined with regional culture,to create public gardens linking different types,is the future trend of urban public garden development.
