Study Of Sustainable Development Of Urban Public Traffic

Sustainable development is the most valued concept of development in modern world, having a profound impact on every aspect of the society. As the problem of traffic jam is getting more and more serious, sustainable development of transport has became the focus of today's research. The fundamental and leading role played by the urban public transport in urban transport makes the development of public transport the priority of urban transport development. Meantime, it also underlines the crucial importance of searching for the way of sustainable development of public transport.Based on the theory of sustainable urban development and sustainable development of urban transport and through a qualitative analysis of the interactions among urban public transport and urban transport system, urban economy, society, environment and resources, this paper reaches the conclusion that the sustainable development of urban transport is the essential prerequisite for the realization of sustainable urban transport; followed by the focused analysis of safeguard measures of sustainable development of public transport, the layout pattern of sustainable development of public transport network and the optimization methods of sustainable development of public transport ; by analyzing the ideological content of sustainable development of public transport and the general ways of establishing the evaluation index system, this paper establishes the evaluation index system of public transport of sustainable development and selects the analytic hierarchy process and expert evaluation method as the major evaluation methods of sustainable development of public transport. Based on the above theoretical studies, combining with the problem of traffic jams in Chongqing metropolitan areas and the slow development of public transport, this paper makes an evaluation analysis of the sustainable development of Chongqing public transport ; in the light of the actual situations in Chongqing, this paper puts forward the suggestions and strategies for promoting the sustainable development of Chongqing public transport for the sustainable development of public transport in Chongqing City.By analyzing the factors influencing the sustainable development of public transport, the paper studies the safeguard measures for the sustainable development of public transport , the layout pattern and optimization methods of public transport network, and establishes an evaluation model for sustainable development of public transport, which contributes significantly to the improvement of the urban transport structure, relief of the urban traffic jams and the sustainable development of the whole society.
