Capital is essential for the production and operation of enterprises,and can ensure the realization of the activities and strategies.Enterprises carry out effective capital management to improve the efficiency of capital use and significantly reduce the business risks faced by the enterprise.With sufficient capital,even in the market setbacks and staff turnover,companies can bear these within a period of time.However,if the capital chain breaks,the company will quickly collapse.Capital is arguably a strategic factor of production that is no less vital than labor or technology.In the past decade,Many domestic enterprises manage capital based on experience.a lack of vision and strategic thinking often results in poor management,which further leads to a disconnection between overall corporate plans and capital strategies.It has become commonplace that enterprises practice expansion blindly when the capital is secure and curtail expenditure arbitrarily when the fund is in shortage.Consequently,much of potential capital value has gone to waste;the financial sectors,weakened and marginalized,have become inadequate to fulfill the function of value creation and decision support.companies will have to face a more complex and changeable business environment in the future.With changes in the financial market and policies at home and abroad,capital management will become increasingly difficult.Therefore,companies need to find the optimal capital management tool and learn how to make the most of it.They shall also learn to balance growth and risk,understand the way capital management works,and set management goals.This paper is based on the related theories of capital management and adopted the literature research method,case study method,and data analysis method,taking the hydropower operation industry-SD company as the case analysis object.By introducing the status of the company’s current capital management,focusing on three major content of centralization of capital management including not giving full play to the advantages of centralized utility;the imperfection of internal control management system of capital;the lower level of information management in capital management.and on this basis,this paper analyzed the reasons include that the independence of capital management is not high,the importance of various departments is not emphasized,the function of the financial department is weakened;the lack of professional capital management personnel,the low frequency of information communication,and the lack of effective feedback in the internal control implementation process.Based on the above-mentioned problems,corresponding optimization countermeasures are proposed: improve the fine management ability of the capital center,strengthen the management of cash flow,increase a variety of centralized capital management models,and strengthen the construction of the capital management team,subdivide the structure of the capital management department;scientifically establish an internal control system;optimize the existing financial system modules and increase system requirements according to actual conditions.In recent years,the hydropower operation industry has grown steadily.However,most domestic researchers focus on the real estate,logistics,and power supply industries rather than the hydropower operation industry.Even less research has touched on the capital management of a particular hydropower operation company.In such context,this article features the hydropower operation area and conducts an in-depth analysis based on the development stage and characteristics of the hydropower business.It has enriched research cases of this area and carries practical guiding significance in capital management beyond the hydroelectric power industry and provides reference to similar enterprise in the process of capital management as well as focuses on value creation.In this paper,through an in-depth study of capital management based on the development stage and characteristics of hydropower operation companies represented by SD companies in the hydropower operation industry,it can be concluded that in order to better achieve the goal of high-quality capital management for the company,focus on the level of financial transformation and upgrade,it is necessary to highlight the profound changes in management thinking,management concepts and management models,and based on the new stage of modern digital information,implement the new concept of smart finance,and build a new pattern of "industry treasury tax" in-depth integration of financial capital.Landing on the status of SD company’s capital management,practically put forward effective measures from the aspects of system architecture,new capital management model,capital information system construction and personnel team building,focusing on stable operation and improving the level of lean capital management and control of SD company while deepens the effectiveness of financial management.
