| With the continuous improvement of china’s urbanization level,the urbanization process is gradually moving towards the era of urban renewal.However,in urban renewal,there is often a phenomenon of large-scale construction and destruction of historical villages in cities.For the city’s historical villages to update the design,the site has often completed demolition negotiations to withdraw,the original social life and place memory was erased.In the current situation analysis stage has entered the "research vacuum period." It is difficult to draw qualitative conclusions whether the planning design based on the research vacuum can preserve the historical context and liven up the new one.Unknown design effects require the introduction of quantitative analysis and evaluation to make it more scientific.The theory of space syntax is a quantitative study of space composition to find out its inherent space social logic.It can be used to data analyze and describe the evolution of space forms in historical blocks,to systematically cognition of the social logic of settlement space,and to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different planning and construction schemes.In this paper,using space syntax as an example,combining the current situation research and historical literature,to study the historical evolution of the Hubei context characteristics and updated status quo issues;Finally,the results of the study on the change of space composition of the historical context,street space and architectural space of Hubei are combined,and the activation strategy of continuing and protecting its context is put forward from the perspective of space syntax.We try to use the quantitative analysis of space syntax to explore and solve the problem of analyzing the vacuum period and the unknown effect after planning and designing when solving the active design of historical blocks in urban renewal.Using the space structure model analysis,restore the social relations and place memory before the historical district retreats,evaluate the use effect and crowd experience after planning and design,and put forward quantitative and fine activation strategy. |
