When the earthquake occurs,the buildings will be subjected to strong seismic shear stress.Due to the inertia effect,the buildings will shake strongly,and some buildings that do not meet the requirements of seismic design may tilt or even collapse.In the seismic design of reinforced concrete frame structure,the corresponding relationship between the seismic fortification intensity and the design basic seismic acceleration should conform to the relevant provisions in the ’ Code for seismic design of buildings GB50011-2010 ’(2016 edition).The seismic design of buildings in 0.15 g and 0.30 g basic seismic acceleration should be carried out according to the requirements of seismic fortification intensity 7 degree and 8 degrees,except for the provisions of the code.With the revision and update of the code,many existing reinforced concrete frame structure buildings in China have been unable to meet the seismic requirements,and these buildings need to be reinforced in time.The traditional reinforcement technology has poor safety,insufficient applicability,and high reinforcement cost.Energy dissipation technology helps the structure consume seismic energy by adding dampers.Compared with the traditional reinforcement method,energy dissipation reinforcement is not only economical and effective,but also has better seismic effect in the reinforcement of high-rise and large-span buildings.In this dissertation,the friction damper is designed and applied for reinforced concrete frame structure to achieve the effect of seismic reinforcement.The main work is as follows:(1)The working principle and mechanical recovery model of friction dampers,metal dampers,viscous dampers and viscoelastic dampers are introduced.(2)According to a frame structure case,the time history analysis model is established by finite element software SAP2000,and the structure model is established by PKPM.The rationality and accuracy of SAP model are verified by natural vibration period,mass and floor shear force,the response spectrum of the original structure is analyzed to determine the objective of seismic reduction and strengthening.(3)The number of dampers is 18 according to the objective of shock absorption and design principles,including three lateral dampers and three vertical dampers for each floor from one to three floors,according to the principle of “Uniform,dispersed,symmetrical and circumjacent”,a detailed plane arrangement scheme of dampers is given.(4)In the study of reinforced concrete frame structure,two natural ground motions(Wenchuan Wave and Taiwan Chi Wave)and one artificial ground motion are selected.The time history analysis of RC frame structure without control and structure with friction damper is carried out,and the parameters such as interstory displacement angle,base shear force and vertex displacement obtained from the analysis before and after strengthening are compared and analyzed,after adding friction dampers,the seismic response of the structure can be reduced effectively.
