"Chang’an Shiying" Series Of Cultural And Creative Design ——Based On The Visual Image Of Shaanxi Shadow Puppet Tradition

This thesis is an elaboration of the background,source of inspiration and design process of my graduation creation "Changan Pickup" series of cultural and creative design.Shaanxi shadow puppet art’s exaggerated shape,unique colors,and rich folk taste are all concrete manifestations of Chinese traditional aesthetic spirit and folk aesthetic taste.Due to historical changes,the art of shadow puppet art has gradually become niche and almost disappeared from the public’s field of vision,but the artistic language and aesthetic symbols contained in it still have important meanings,so inheritance and innovation have become keywords for the development of shadow puppet art.This thesis is divided into three chapters,respectively expounding the three parts of graduation creation,namely the visual expression of Shaanxi shadow puppets,the design of "Wish Shadow" series and the design of "Le You" series.Each part mainly focuses on Shaanxi shadow puppet art and cultural and creative design.The first chapter starts from the visual expression of Shaanxi shadow puppet art,and focuses on the logo design and poster design of "Changan Picking up Shadows".Shaanxi shadow puppet art has highly expressive modeling symbols and color language,which give the author a great aesthetic inspiration.The logo design and propaganda poster design of "Chang’an Picking up Shadows" took this as a breakthrough point,and emphasized the aesthetic characteristics of Shaanxi shadow puppets’ modeling symbols and color language in the design.The second chapter starts from the traditional image of shadow puppet art in Shaanxi,extracts the visual elements of shadow puppets and designs the "Wish Shadow" series of cultural and creative products.Based on the visual form of traditional shadow puppets and contemporary aesthetic trends,this series redesigned the image of shadow puppets to show the aesthetic connotation of Shaanxi shadow puppets.The third chapter mainly elaborates the "Leyou" series of cultural and creative design.Shaanxi shadow puppetry has a rich historical background and regional cultural characteristics of Guanzhong.Therefore,the author extracts the elements and connotations of regional culture in the creation of illustrations,and uses culture as a medium to express art,so as to achieve the purpose of inheriting and developing Shaanxi shadow puppet art.
