In order to solve the problems of traditional LED light poles in remote controlling,automatic inspection,real-time single light regulation and control,and fault light location recognition,a research scheme of an intelligent light pole monitoring system based on narrow band internet of things(NB-IoT)is proposed in this paper.The software and hardware of the system are designed from four aspects,as the perception layer,transmission layer,platform layer and application layer.In the perception layer,a street light pole terminal is designed.STM32L151 MCU is adopted as the processor of the terminal device,together with multiple sensors to realize signal acquisition of street lamp.In the transmission layer,the NB-IoT module is connected to the core network through the Lw M2 M protocol,and the light information collected by the terminal device is uploaded to the Lw M2 M server through the core network.In the platform layer,China mobile One NET cloud platform is selected to develop on the platform.Terminal device is connected to the platform to realize data acquisition,long-distance transmission,reporting and storage.In the application layer,the mobile terminal is developed and connected to the One NET platform through HTTP protocol,to realize the interconnection between the terminal device,the platform layer and the application layer.The research on the low power consumption of the light pole monitoring system mainly focuses on the optimization of the working mode and the data communication process,to greatly reduce the power consumption of the system from two aspects.Testing the system power consumption and the stability of data transmission,the experimental results show that the developed system can not only achieve the environmental parameters and illumination of the street light remotely and real-time,accurate positioning of faulty street lights,but also realize the individual control of street lights.The system has low power consumption,high reliability and stable data transmission process.
