With the rapid development of medical device industry,the competition among domestic medical device enterprises is becoming more and more fierce,and the problem of low price competition is becoming more and more serious.China’s medical device industry is still catching up with the world’s advanced level,but at the same time,the domestic medical device enterprises are more or less experiencing bottlenecks.Bodhi Medical Technology Co.,LTD.(abbreviated as B)is a small start-up that focuses on the development of medical devices.However,B is facing problems such as lack of product competitiveness,delays in product development,and inadequate quality control.This paper takes the product development process of B Company as the starting point of the research,conducts research around the existing projects of B Company,and finds out the problems existing in the development process of B company through in-depth interviews.Analyze the causes of the problems in the development process,and formulate the strategy of product development process optimization.Through the establishment of take the customer as the center of research and development organization system,establish multi-sectoral coordination mechanism,establishing "research and development-quality-improvement" product development system and organizational restructuring to a series of optimization of the development process,improve the efficiency of B company’s product development and improve the production efficiency,further set clear development direction for B company,Finally,the market competitiveness of B company will be improved so that it can remain invincible and develop continuously.I hope this in-depth study is a good case,which can provide certain guidance and reference value to other small and medium-sized medical device production and development enterprises.
