Reconstruction Strategy And Design Practice Of Traditional Ancient Towns Based On The Concept Of Symbiosis ——Taking Mudong Ancient Town In Banan District As An Example

This paper will utilize Kizhang Kurokawa’s symbiosis theory to examine the development of residents and historical contexts in various ancient towns;based on an in-depth evaluation of the relationship between ancient towns and traditional historical contexts,this study will focus on the development of Shibao Street of Mudong Ancient Town in Chongqing to investigate the development characteristics and laws of Mudong Ancient Town,in order to truly comprehend the development of Mudong Ancient Town.The notion of symbiosis is a significant research subject in the cohabitation of urban and old town growth.The following levels will be covered in this dissertation: the first chapter explains the dissertation’s research background,importance,related ideas,and viewpoints,as well as organizes the state of study on traditional old towns and symbiotic notions at home and abroad and develops a research framework.The second chapter organizes Mudong ancient Town’s regional summary,focusing on changes in the natural environment,traffic,and cultural environment,as well as grasping the background of Mudong ancient Town’s traditional style area.The third chapter primarily compares similar ancient towns in Sichuan,Chongqing,and other areas,summarizes the development of decoration,and highlights the existing gap between wood hole town,Gong Tan town,and td village from six major dimension of scale,space layout,traffic system,construction planning,landscape design,and public facilities aspects.Furthermore,the social,economic,and cultural comparison study will pave the road for Mudong old Town’s regeneration design plan development.The fourth chapter mainly constructs the corresponding strategies of the city,historical buildings,landscape environment,culture,and economy for the symbiosis problem of Mudong Ancient Town on the basis of the previous section,with the combination of the theor of symbiosis and the basic characteristics and construction principles of symbiosis stratege.The fifth chapter is a mutual verification of the previous chapter’s strategy construction accomplishments in the renewal design of Shibao Street in Mudong old Town.Kurokawa’s concept of symbiosis is to bring together different cultures and ideas in a symbiotic relation.This article claims that such a symbiotic relationship is critical to Mudong Ancient Town’s social,economic,and cultural development.As a result,the preservation and development of Banan Mudong ancient town and other traditional towns should be based on the "concept of symbiosis" of excellent traditional culture integration,as well as the continuous excavation of new cultural elements,so that mudong ancient town can absorb new cultural nutrition,which is the "root" for the town’s good development.
