Study On Renewal Design Of Traditional Settlements In Middle Anhui

Traditional settlements are an important human settlement environment in China,providing the necessary conditions for human survival and development,and traditional settlements in various places are presented to people with their distinctive regional culture,characteristic residential architecture and folk customs.Huangtun Old Street was named the first batch of thousand-year-old villages in Anhui Province in 2016 and the sixth batch of national traditional villages in2022,so the local government has paid more and more attention to traditional ancient villages and began to update Huangtun Old Street to protect and continue the development of traditional material culture and intangible culture of Huangtun villages.Due to a series of outstanding problems such as the remote geographical location,lack of resources and economic backwardness of the old street,many difficulties have been added to its renovation plan.In addition,most of the local residents are elderly,and the protection of traditional architectural culture is weak,which brings difficulties to further protection plans for Huangtun Old Street.It not only has a large number of material aging problems,but also intertwined with the decline of functional structure,these gradually disappearing traditional old buildings embody the common wisdom of simple working people and mellow local culture,need to pay attention to the inheritance and protection of the traditional human environment and historical and cultural environment,etc.,some of them are repaired and given new functions,and the renewal of traditional settlements.It is an update based on traditional skills and the inheritance of local culture.From the level of conservation significance,the renewal of settlements needs to be paid great attention,which is not only the inheritance and development of material traditions,but also the inheritance of human and historical environments.Through the study of relevant theories and literature,this paper explores the renewal and transformation of traditional settlement street space,architectural space and landscape space in central Anhui.Firstly,taking the local architectural culture of Huangtun Ancient Town of Lujiang County as the main line,the relevant theoretical research on the street space,architectural space and landscape planning of traditional settlements is taken as the basis,and secondly,through the successful cases of protection and renewal of traditional settlements at home and abroad,the experience is analyzed and summarized,so as to provide a feasible reference for the next design practice.Finally,in the process of the renewal design of the old street,the renewal of the street space,the space of various boundaries,the water system and the public space of the old street are planned as a whole.From the landscape node,the landscape of the leisure space,the landscape of the street space and the water space will be restored.From the building unit,in order to maintain the continuity of the street space,the space that needs to be transformed will be repaired and updated.In the renewal design of Huangtun villages,value-oriented and overall sustainable development is carried out to promote the revitalization of Huangtun settlements.
