| As one of many research directions in the field of industrial engineering,workshop layout optimization is the lifeblood of the survival of manufacturing enterprises.The reasonableness of the workshop layout not only affects the production efficiency of products,the utilization rate of equipment and workshop area,production logistics,and the working environment of the workshop site,but more importantly,it affects the production cost of the enterprise.A good layout can reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises,and can enhance their competitive advantages in the complex and changeable market environment in the future.At present,with the support of national policies,manufacturing enterprises have been able to develop rapidly.However,at the same time of rapid development,due to the lack of systematic learning and application of relevant theories and methods for workshop layout optimization,many problems with unreasonable layout have also been exposed.KF is a general-purpose valve manufacturing company.Since the company did not go through a systematic layout design in the initial layout planning of the workshop,as the company continued to develop,the problem of unreasonable layout became more obvious.Therefore,this article selects the general valve workshop of KF company as the research object,and conducts research and discussion on the optimization of the workshop layout.First of all,according to the data and materials obtained from the field investigation,the production status,layout status and logistics status of the workshop are analyzed,and the problems existing in the layout of the workshop are found.Secondly,in response to these problems,the systematic layout design method(SLP)is used to initially optimize the layout of the general valve workshop.However,due to the great subjectivity of this method,on this basis,according to the general valve the actual characteristics of the workshop,a multiobjective mixed integer programming mathematical model considering the intersection of forward and reverse material flows and material handling routes in the workshop is established,and an improved NSGA-II algorithm is designed to solve the model to obtain a set of pareto optimal in the optimal solution set,the initial layout optimization plan obtained by the SLP method is coded as part of the initial population of the improved algorithm;the comparison of the results before and after layout optimization verifies the validity and feasibility of the constructed mathematical model and the designed algorithm;the analysis method makes a decision on the final layout optimization plan.Thirdly,use Flexsim software to establish a simulation model before and after the general valve shop layout optimization,and obtain a simulation report by running the model.From the perspective of data obtained from actual operation,the effect of layout optimization can be understood in more detail,thereby further verifying the effectiveness of the optimization plan.Finally,compare and evaluate the optimization effect of KF’s general valve workshop from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives;combined with the company’s actual situation,put forward some more targeted safeguard measures from the aspects of organization,personnel,system,and culture to ensure that the layout optimization plan can be implemented smoothly in the company. |
