Interactive Design For Alleviating Social Anxiety Using Sandplay Therapy

With the development of society,a variety of social problems appear,the communication between people has become complicated,a variety of complex emotions make some people appear social anxiety.Through investigation and research,the anxiety generated in social interaction has affected the life,work and study of social anxiety.At the present stage,although people have some understanding of social anxiety,they lack of understanding,attention and understanding of professional treatment methods.Faced with this problem,the field of psychology has carried out in-depth research,psychological research shows that the causes of social anxiety in addition to social,family and other external factors,more important is the internal factors of people.Modern psychology provides a variety of interventions,among which sandplay therapy is an interesting intervention that can effectively relieve and treat social anxiety.Sandplay therapy through the way of game,in the process of game,the inner psychology is unconsciously expressed and presented by "sand tools",so as to achieve the expression and cure of inner emotions.Through the research and analysis of social anxiety and offline sandplay therapy,it is found that due to the lack of knowledge popularization of mental health in today’s society,and the social anxiety of social anxiety people themselves have social anxiety and other problems,social anxiety people have some hesitation to carry out offline psychological diagnosis and treatment.Through the online psychological diagnosis and treatment of the existing products on the market research,found that such products rely mainly on psychological consultant through the words,pictures,video,voice calls,video calls and other means to communicate with the visitors,coaching,the product itself does not have professional treatment function,lack of the professionalism of the product itself and interesting,can’t meet the demand of modern society increasingly intense psychological diagnosis and treatment.Based on the combination of sandplay therapy,this topic aims at alleviating the anxiety of social anxiety groups.Through the research and analysis of relevant theories and the actual investigation of target groups,an interactive product that not only meets the modern aesthetic needs but also reflects the professional psychology is designed.Firstly,the characteristics and treatment of social anxiety are analyzed from the theory and status quo of social anxiety.To study sandplay therapy that effectively alleviates social anxiety,understand the basic elements and treatment mechanism of sandplay therapy,and explore the possibility of turning sandplay therapy into interactive products;Then investigate the characteristics and needs of social anxiety groups,investigate similar products on the market,analyze the functions and characteristics of these products,and analyze the research product positioning of this topic;Through the concrete product design practice,form the product framework;Design user-centered online psychological consultation interactive products that can assist psychological diagnosis and treatment,popularize professional mental health knowledge,and promote sandplay therapy;Finally,the improvement effect of interaction design on offline sandplay therapy is analyzed by comparison.To sum up,it is hoped that this project can provide more ideas for interdisciplinary design,provide some new intervention methods for mental health relief by virtue of the advantages of interactive products such as convenience,intelligence and rich interactive functions,and attract more people’s attention to mental health.
