In the early industrial field,the data collection and recording of the equipment was completely manually completed,which was time-consuming and labor-intensive and had limited detection range.With the development of sensor technology,various sensors have replaced manual equipment data collection work,and local monitoring technology in industrial sites has begun to appear.The wired network connects the controller PLC(editable logic controller)of the industrial field equipment with the PC or HMI(humanmachine interface),and displays the operating status of the equipment,sensor data and other information through the host computer software or touch screen,and also integrates the equipment Control and data storage and analysis functions.The data information of the device completes the interaction with people locally.With the development of the Internet of Things technology,the network has begun to be used in the process of data collection and transmission in the industrial field,extending the range of data transmission,making the remote monitoring of the industrial field a new research direction.Aiming at the problems of traditional local industrial field equipment monitoring systems that consume a lot of manpower,material resources,financial resources,and data sharing,with the help of the development trend of the Internet of Things technology in the industrial field,this article analyzes the common communication protocols of industrial field equipment controller PLC and the Internet of Things Transmission protocol and Io T cloud platform architecture.Design and implement the porting of PLC’s Modbus TCP and Siemens S7 communication protocol and Io T transmission protocol MQTT Io T terminal module,compatible with various types of PLC at the core of industrial field control equipment,complete the PLC parameter reading and writing,data acquisition,status monitoring,Error diagnosis and data transmission.This design first uses the B/S client architecture to build an Io T cloud platform based on the Node.js platform and Mongo DB database to complete the reception,visual display,storage and failure analysis of the Io T terminal module data.Secondly,the Io T terminal module and the Io T cloud platform are combined to form an industrial field monitoring platform based on the Internet of Things technology,which realizes the remote monitoring of industrial field equipment.Then,the IOT terminal module and the IOT cloud platform were jointly debugged,and the operation of each module and function of the system was tested.The test results were good and met the basic functional requirements of the industrial field monitoring platform.Finally,a summary of the work done by this system provides a reference solution for the remote monitoring of industrial field equipment in the future.
