Commercial pedestrian space is the main body of the city and the center of economic prosperity,which plays an important role in the economic development of the city and the economic promotion of the country.In cold cities,due to the special climate characteristics,the types,forms and combinations of commercial pedestrian space are limited.Now,China has entered a new era.The main social contradictions have also undergone important changes.People’s requirements for life are more spiritual.In order to solve the boredom of commercial pedestrian space in cold cities,solve the main social contradictions,create a variety of commercial pedestrian space,and strive to meet the spiritual requirements of cold city users,is the purpose of this paper.People create cities and use them at the same time.From the perspective of the core content of humanistic value,it is people-oriented.According to the content of demand theory,meeting various needs and self realization are the basis of design.Combined with the characteristics of people’s movement and behavior mode in the design of walking space in cold area city,a more humanized commercial walking space in cold area city is created.Taking Harbin,Changchun and Shenyang as examples,this paper takes the existing types of commercial pedestrian space as the background,and considers the business model,human behavior model and climate characteristics of cold cities.Through on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire survey,random interview and other methods,we understand and record the existing problems of commercial pedestrian space in cold cities.It is found that the natural environment,human environment and material environment of cold cities have great influence on the design of commercial pedestrian space.Combined with the climate change,spatial scale analysis and interface treatment methods of cold cities,this paper puts forward the optimal design method which is most suitable for the commercial pedestrian space of cold cities in China,and solves the problem of the sense of belonging of cold city users.Based on the previous research theory and practical problems,we find the optimal design scheme of commercial pedestrian space in cold cities,and provide the optimal use conditions for the users of cold cities in China.In this paper,the design of commercial pedestrian space in cold cities based on human-oriented value is conducive to the injection of space vitality and the strengthening of urban economic development in cold cities.Guided by humanoriented values,the commercial development of cold cities in China can be healthy and sustainable,which is of great theoretical and practical significance for the diversification of cold city business.
