Hydropower is a kind of renewable clean energy that can be developed and utilized commercially on a large scale.Nowadays,hydropower plant equipment is constantly developing in the direction of complexity,integration and intelligence,which puts forward higher requirements for the specialized level of equipment maintenance personnel.The traditional training method for maintenance personnel is taught by experienced engineers in combination with video and text materials.This kind of training method lacks the interaction between the maintenance personnel and the equipment,the maintenance personnel can only passively accept the knowledge and cannot experience the maintenance process of the equipment in person,which makes it difficult for the maintenance personnel to combine theoretical knowledge with practice.However,the maintenance personnel rarely have the opportunities to use the real machine for practical training,even in the case of the overhaul,the maintenance work that individual trainees can participate in is limited.Therefore,it is urgent to put forward a more convenient and effective way of training maintenance personnel,so that maintenance personnel can not be restricted by the real machine,and exercise maintenance skills,improve the level of maintenance more efficiently.In this paper,the hydraulic turbine governor is chosen as a representative research object,the virtual reality technology is applied to the development of the virtual interactive maintenance training platform of the hydraulic turbine governor.In the process of platform development,this paper uses Solid Works software to complete the three-dimensional modeling simulation of hydraulic turbine governor and various maintenance tools,selects 3ds Max software to optimize the three-dimensional model and create a demonstration animation of equipment disassembly and assembly,uses Unity3 D software to create a virtual scene and realize human-computer interaction,and writes functional scripts in the language of C# on the Visual Studio.This paper improves the native UGUI of Unity3 D,expands the control library,and combines the open source Unity3 D Winform to make a user interface.In addition,this paper uses shader to render the model in Unity3 D,and realizes the interaction between the model and the model through collision detection.The training platform developed and implemented in this paper mainly has the following four functions:(1)the composition structure of the hydraulic turbine governor and the study of the theoretical knowledge of maintenance;(2)the operation training and assessment of the hydraulic turbine governor disassembly,assembly and various maintenance items;(3)assessment function setting and trainee assessment information inquiry;(4)the user settings and maintenance help.For different hydropower station equipment,although the structures and specific maintenance items of them are different,the training modes of maintenance personnel are similar.Therefore,although this platform is developed based on hydraulic turbine governor,it can also provide a reference for the development of virtual maintenance training platforms for other hydropower station equipment,so as to help promote the professional level of maintenance personnel.And this platform has reference value and practical significance in reducing training costs and deepening the expertise of staff.
