| This paper is based on the sub-project "Research on the Regional Characteristics of Sichuan Plateau and Mountainous Areas" of the project "Research on the Technical Standards of High-speed Highways in Plateau and Mountainous Areas",which is a scientific and technological project of Sichuan Provincial Department of transportation.In view of the impact of the special regional environmental characteristics of Western Sichuan Plateau,such as high altitude,complex topography,unique climate,frequent geological disasters,sensitive and fragile ecological environment,etc.,on the highway construction,this paper makes a systematic study on highway construction zoning in Western Sichuan Plateau,in order to unify the design guidelines of different zoning and put forward the targeted highway engineering technical requirements.Besides,it will lay the foundation for the formulation of technical standards and design guidelines for high-speed highways in Western Sichuan Plateau.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the current zoning characteristics and inapplicability of Western Sichuan Plateau,the concept of the highway construction zoning of Western Sichuan Plateau was proposed.By collecting and sorting out the engineering practice data in Western Sichuan Plateau and similar areas,combining with highway standards and specifications,and using the method of system engineering,the dominant factors affecting the highway construction zoning in Western Sichuan Plateau were extracted.By collecting the basic data of Western Sichuan Plateau and relevant department zoning maps,the characteristics and distribution disciplines of the five dominant factors(altitude,topography,climate,geology and ecological environment)affecting the construction zoning were studied in depth by using Arc GIS platform,and the single factor zoning map of each influencing factor was drawn.Each single zoning index was matched with the construction demand of the project in Western Sichuan Plateau,which can guide the corresponding engineering practice separately,and also provide detailed data support for the construction zoning index system and the determination of zoning scheme.Focusing on the research object and purpose of the project,considering the actual engineering construction conditions and influencing factors of Western Sichuan Plateau,eight basic principles of highway construction zoning that should be followed in Western Sichuan Plateau were determined.Combined with the research results of the leading factors affecting the construction zoning and its index,the zoning index hierarchical system of Western Sichuan Plateau highway construction was constructed by using the methods of engineering factor determination and analytic hierarchy process.Based on Arc GIS,through the calculation of the indicators and the overlay analysis and boundary correction of the maps of each zone,a threelevel zone scheme for the highway construction zone of Western Sichuan Plateau was proposed and the zone map was drawn.Through detailed analysis of the typical characteristics of different zones and their influence on highway construction,relevant suggestions for the selection of construction technical standards for different zones were put forward.Finally,the application of the zoning scheme to the nine planned lines in Western Sichuan Plateau was analyzed in detail,which is convenient for the reference of relevant engineering personnel. |
