| From a strong transportation country to a national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network plan,from the implementation of the "Special Economic Zone" to the construction of the "One Belt and One Road",regional economic development is inseparable from the construction and improvement of transportation infrastructure.The concept of green transportation and multimodal transportation has made comprehensive transportation efficiency an effective way to measure the high-quality development of the transportation industry.How much potential regional economic growth momentum can be stimulated by comprehensive transportation under high-quality development has become a hot issue for scholars.From a spatial perspective,this paper analyzes the impact of comprehensive transportation efficiency on economic growth,and analyzes the development differences of the three regions in the east,middle,and west from the extent and direction of the spillover effect.Based on the theory of economic growth and the theory of new economic geography,this paper analyzes the mechanism of transportation efficiency on economic growth from two aspects: transportation infrastructure is the basic condition of economic growth and transportation infrastructure drives regional economic growth.The empirical part mainly includes three parts: the measurement and analysis of comprehensive transportation efficiency,the spatial correlation test of comprehensive transportation efficiency and economic growth,and the spatial measurement analysis of comprehensive transportation efficiency and economic growth.Based on the spatial correlation between comprehensive transportation efficiency and economic growth,regression analysis is carried out by screening the best spatial econometric model models such as LM test,Wald test,Hausman test,etc.The results are as follows:(1)From 2008 to 2017,only 7 provinces and cities across the country have an average efficiency greater than 1,and most of them are located in eastern China.(2)The results of the average efficiency of the three major zones from 2008 to 2017 are: Eastern> National Average> Central> Western.(3)The bivariate global Moran’s I index of comprehensive transportation efficiency and economic growth is significantly positive,and the 10-year average value is 0.330.(4)While the comprehensive transportation efficiency promotes the significant economic growth of the region,it also drives the economic growth of the surrounding areas to a large extent.(5)Under the three spatial weight matrices,the comprehensive transportation efficiency has different effects on economic growth,and the overall trend is economic matrix> geographic matrix> adjacency matrix.(6)The comprehensive transportation efficiency of different regions has different effects on economic growth,and the overall performance is east>central>west.Finally,based on the results of the empirical analysis,four aspects including building an energy-saving and efficient comprehensive transportation system,steadily improving the regional comprehensive transportation level,stimulating the driving effect of comprehensive transportation on economic growth,and narrowing the gap between regional comprehensive transportation and economic development,are important to my country’s east,The central and western regions put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of comprehensive transportation efficiency and economic growth. |
