Under the influence of climate change such as global warming, the future of human society will be more uncertain, which means that resilient development focused on adapting to disasters and facing uncertain changes needs urgent attention.Meanwhile, coastal cities need to consider resilience in coping with flood-related threats such as acceleration of sea-level rising, storm surges and extreme precipitation. On the other hand, with the advancement of urbanization, the contradiction between the demand for space capacity enhancement and the relative shortage of land resources becomes more and more prominent, which makes three-dimensional development of the city become the main trend of the future. The three-dimensional city is the three-dimensional organization of the structure and function of the city, which will affect the resilience of the city. How to construct a more resilient three-dimensional urban space model is worth paying attention to under the dual needs of the development of resilient city and threedimensional city.Based on the combination of resilience concept and three-dimensional urban space model, this paper focuses on the urban design method of urban district level.Taking Central and East District of Pazhou as an example, this paper focuses on resilient response to acute threat of floods and improvement of comprehensive resilience, and tries to construct a new threedimensional urban space design model with resilience, hoping to provide reference for the same kind of design practice.First of all,the existing researches on resilient city and urban three-dimensional are reviewed, and the existing consensus and development trend are summarized to lay a theoretical foundation for this research. And it is pointed out that the existing research on the combination of the two area are less, and the overall consideration on the level of urban district needs to be further discussed. Then, focusing on the resilience response to floods, this paper interprets the practices of Manhattan,Hafencity,Rotterdam and Wuzhou, and summarizes the case from the aspects of land use, traffic system and landscape in order to offer reference for putting forward threedimensional urban space design strategies combined with the concept of resilience. In the next part, based on literature analysis and field investigation, this paper analyzes the current situation of Pazhou Central and Eastern District from five aspects of geology and geomorphology, green and water system, land use, traffic system and public space, and sums up the problems of low land use efficiency and ecological deterioration caused by horizontal spatial expansion, blue and green space fragmentation, transportation diversity and connectivity deficiency, public space deficiency and so on.In the meantime, analyze three typical floodrelated threats(ie sea level rise, storm surge, and heavy precipitation)faced by Pazhou Central and Eastern District, and proposes that the current flood response facilities are difficult to deal with future flood threats. In addition, analyze the existing related planning and design of Pazhou Central and Eastern District, and summarize its advantages and disadvantages. In summary, summarize the current construction problems and future development challenges of Pazhou Central and Eastern District.Furthermore, based on the comparison and analysis of different designs proposed in the Pazhou Central and Eastern District Conceptual Urban Design Workshop, this paper interprets the design ideas and strategies of different designs from the perspective of improving the resilience of the city, and summarize the commonness, individuality and the insufficiency, providing the foundation for the follow-up design model. Then, continuing the design thinking showed in the workshop of promoting the comprehensive resilience of the city and rethinking the insufficiency of these urban designs, this paper discusses the three-dimensional design strategy of urban space based on the case study at home and abroad from the point of view of comprehensive rather than specific threats,in order to provide the supplementary support for proposing the strategy of three-dimensional design of urban space combining the idea of resilience. Finally, based on the above theoretical research, practical research, current situation and existing planning analysis, this paper tries to construct a new three-dimensional urban space design model of Pazhou Central and Eastern District with resilience concept, focusing on improving the resilience to floods and comprehensive resilience, and taking three-dimensional design of urban space as the way to improve urban resilience.Three design principles are proposed: three-dimensional space layout with low impact and risk reduction, threedimensional structure and function design with enhanced resilience characteristics, and threedimensional space shaping intergrated with flood resilience facilities.Based on these principles,it puts forward specific design strategies and suggested operations from four aspects: threedimensional land use,three-dimensional traffic system,three-dimensional public space and three-dimensional landscape.
