| Road traffic safety is a research hotspot in the field of transportation.In a complex dynamic traffic system,drivers have the highest mobility,and more than 90% of the causes of traffic accidents are related to drivers.Drivers obtain traffic situation information mainly through vision,while judgment and decision-making depend on the level of situation awareness.Taking the driver’s situation awareness as the research object,using the method of questionnaire and test,studied from subjective and objective perspectives of driver’s situation awareness,and the methods of analysis of variance and non-parametric tests are used to compare experienced drivers 、 drivers whether trained or not,situation awareness between novice drivers and experienced drivers in visual search characteristics in different traffic situations.Selecting the evaluation indexes of situation awareness,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on principal component analysis is used to establish a comprehensive evaluation model of driver’s situational awareness.Exploring the driver’s subjective situational awareness from the three dimensions of situational observation,hazard perception and risk attitude.Experienced drivers are superior to novice drivers in all dimensions.The results show that with the increase of age,driving skills,driving experience and driving frequency,drivers’ subjective situation awareness increased.Driving experience and traffic situation categories have significant differences in the situation observation orientation.Experienced drivers pay more attention to the left rearview mirror,right rearview mirror and inner rearview mirror than novice drivers.Analyzing the differences in visual search strategies of different driver groups in various traffic situations,the results show that the improvement of driving experience helps drivers to improve their objective situation awareness.Untrained novice drivers’ visual search range and information capture ability worse than experienced drivers and trained novice drivers.The visual search strategy of the driver is related to the category of the traffic situation.Horizontal eye activity,number of saccades,average fixation duration,number of fixations,and AOI attention rate are significantly different in different traffic situations.Through the correlation analysis of the driver’s subjective and objective situational cognition indicators,the repetitive indicators were eliminated,and the second-and third-tier driver’s situation awareness evaluation system was constructed.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on principal component analysis was adopted to bring in real data verification.The validity of the model are analyzed.The research results of this paper are used in the evaluation of driver’s situation awareness,complete driver training and evaluation system,targeted driver training,improve driver’s situation awareness level and visual search strategy,design of on-board auxiliary equipment,and optimize current situation.There are road traffic signs,which have important practical significance and theoretical value in terms of reducing traffic accidents and improving road traffic safety. |
