In recent years, with the fast development of Freeway,. the rate of traffic accident accounting on freeway has increased day by day in our country. The accidents bring large loss to our country and people. So it is necessary to find out reasons for the freeway traffic accident in order to decrease traffic accident or traffic accident harm degree.The paper analyses reasons for the freeway traffic accident from the systemic viewpoint and discusses four factors influencing traffic safety, which are human, vehicle, route and environments. At last, the paper probes into the interaction of the four factors.1: Based on essential principle of human work efficiency accounting for safety problem, physiological and mental reaction characteristics for drivers of freeway are analyzed. The influence for drivers on speedway safety is discussed.2: By analyzing safe capability for the vehicle at high speed, the importance of using capability and technological capability for steering on speedway safely is discussed.3: By referring to route safety files in and out of country and comparing the place where rate of traffic accident is high, the geometrical line, the road surface quality and traffic safety facilities of freeway are main factors for freeway accident.4: by discussing the relationship between route transport environments and transport safety, the conclusion that the route using characteristic descends as a result of bad weather is deduced. Regression statistic is utilized. The results shows the main reasons for transports accidents are traffic and the speed difference between large car and small car.Eventually, human-vehicle-route-environment evaluation guideline system is advanced. Quotas are chosen for different guidelines utilizing paired comparison, and then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methodlogy is used to evaluate freeway traffic safety systemically for the purpose of finding out safe hidden trouble. It not only has important operation significance on preventing and dealing with traffic accident at complex traffic environment, but also play a very important part in founding modern freeway manage system and advancing management.
