Railway transportation is the basic means of transportation and the artery of national economic development.With the rapid development of society,science and technology,DPR of Korea’s economic construction is also entering a rapid development path.In recent years,DPR of Korea has entered a period of new economic development,and at the same time,important national industries have been growing and growing.Because the country’s territory area is mostly mountainous,the railway transportation system is still an essential and important industry.There is almost no difference between already built and newly built railway stations,also there is no update of design concept.Moreover,the railway station has been built for a long time,and the comfort of indoor thermal environment is more serious than the requirements of contemporary society,especially the energy consumption of functional spaces such as waiting areas,is very prominent.The thermal comfort of railway passenger station is one of the important indexes to measure its indoor space environment,and the potential of green design is also great.Therefore,how to carry out energy-saving renovation of indoor space to ensure thermal comfort is the main problem which needs to be solved urgently.In this paper,Pyongyang Railway Passenger Station is taken as the research object.By studying the improvement of the indoor environment of the railway passenger station and applying the theoretical knowledge of modern green building design,the application practice and theoretical verification of the actual project of Pyongyang Railway Passenger Station are completed.This means that the railway system needs to meet the requirements of contemporary passengers for the riding environment and provide method guidance for the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.First of all,through literature review and field investigation,the research background and the existing problems of contemporary Korean railway passenger stations are expounded.Through the investigation of climate characteristics,spatial layout,streamline organization and indoor environment,the energy consumption status and existing problems in actual operation of Pyongyang railway passenger stations are obtained.Secondly,considering the characteristics of the railway station as a public transportation building,focusing on the functional spatial layout and streamline organization,also using the horizon analysis method in spatial syntax and using the DEPTHMAP spatial analysis software we analyze the current situation of Pyongyang Railway Passenger Station,thus obtaining the accessibility evaluation and optimization scheme of Pyongyang Railway Station.Thus,according to the obtained optimization scheme and investigation results of railway passenger station,the standard model of Pyongyang railway passenger station is established,and the standard model is transformed from the aspects of climate conditions,indoor environment feeling and plane layout by means of analysis and simulation,and the relationship between thermal comfort and building energy consumption is obtained.The energy-saving design and transformation scheme of railway passenger station building based on thermal comfort is put forward,thus the energy-saving design and transformation method of railway station building based on climate adaptation is obtained,which provides architectural design basis for the new construction or reconstruction of DPR of Korea Railway Station.
