Building energy-saving is an important part of the sustainable development strategy in China. Railway Station because of its high energy-consumption, energy-saving potential is the focus of public building energy-saving. Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone is a dual climate of extreme climatic conditions, the building energy-saving has its own characteristics. To understand the energy situation of railway station, analyzes the energy saving potential, and building energy efficiency and energy saving design to provide reference and recommendations. In this paper, Hot-summer and cold-winter zone railway station as the research object simulates energy to study the various factors on building energy consumption, and analysis of the energy-saving potential, and gives recommendations on energy-saving.First of all, the paper reviews the development of China's railway station energy consumption trends and characteristics, and tally up the energy-saving focus building envelope. Then, EnergyPlus energy simulation software used in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone railway station simulation of the railway passenger station of the windows in envelopes, window wall ratio, heat transfer coefficient were optimized, and the aspect ratio of the railway station, building shape, building floors were discussed. Finally, Changsha South Station is an object to optimize the thermal envelope around the parameters of the energy-saving effect compared simulation.The results of the correct choice of architectural designers in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone railway station building envelope design parameters of energy saving, energy-saving design and building energy consumption to grasp the variation of the railway passenger station accurate calculation of energy consumption and promote enclosure railway station structure of the economy, reliability and energy-saving design to provide reference; for scientific and reasonable development for different regions of the railway station energy-saving standards, regulations and incentives to provide evidence.
