At present,the construction industry is shifting to a healthy and orderly development model,and the transformation of construction industrialization and informatization has been vigorously promoted.The advent of the information age has also brought opportunities for the development of the engineering cost industry,which not only facilitates data collection,calculation and storage,but also enables real-time and dynamic cost management throughout the process.BIM is the application form of computer technology in the field of construction.It integrates all kinds of information throughout the full life cycle of the project and can realize automatic exchange and sharing of information.BIM entered the field of engineering cost relatively late.Under the current trend of engineering cost informatization,the demand for BIM in the field of cost is gradually emerging,and how to apply BIM in the field of engineering cost is very important.In order to actively respond to the country’s development policy,prefabricated buildings and BIM technology as typical representatives have become current research hotspots.At present,the high construction cost of prefabricated buildings is one of the reasons that limit its large-scale promotion.Therefore,BIM will be used to solve this problem.The component-based features of prefabricated buildings are inherently compatible with the component-based modeling methods of BIM software.BIM technology is introduced into the field of prefabricated building cost management and to use the BIM model to directly calculate the quantity and price of the prefabricated components,which is beneficial to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the quantity and price of the project.However,the BIM model only contains some geometric information and physical information,which does not meet the semantic conditions required to realize the project cost management,and the BIM model information needs to be extended.In addition,cost information resources are the core element of realizing project cost management,which is directly related to the effect of project cost management.Therefore,rational use of cost information resources is also a key link in improving cost management.To sum up,this article through a detailed analysis of the prefabricated building construction process and cost management requirements,in accordance with the pricing model and the full life-cycle cost management in two directions,complete extraction of the required cost information.Based on the data structure of the BIM model,combined with the characteristics of the cost information,the cost information resources of the prefabricated building life cycle are divided from multiple angles,combined into a networked multi-level prefabricated building cost information structure,and the context technology is used to establish conceptual model of prefabricated building cost information.After that,using ontology technology to realize the model from two aspects of knowledge expression and reasoning research,and a renewable and expandable cost knowledge base is proposed to realize a complete engineering cost management work platform.The platform can not only manage the cost information resources,associate independent information,but also further optimize the prefabricated building cost management mode,improve the accuracy and efficiency of project cost management,and further promote the development mode of dynamic management of project cost throughout the full life cycle.
