Demand Forecasting And Inventory Control Strategy Of Train Spare Parts In GZ Railway Transport Corporation

The outbreak of Novel Corona virus has depressed the passenger transportation market,therefore,the competition among various transport enterprise has become more intense now.Due to the limitation of various factors,the railway transport enterprise is weak in marketing and promotion strategies,thus,improving the service quality,and reduce business operating costs has become important means to become competitive.Passenger train spare parts are the important components of the unit materials of railway transport,and as an important standard to measure the quality of train service has become key part of enterprise cost control and the material management of railway passenger transport units.How to improve the quality of service and reduce the transport cost has become an important topic for each unit.By analysis and researching the current situation of the passenger train spares parts management,the outstanding problem of current railway spare parts inventory management work is to be known.The current management relies mainly on the experience.Lacking of scientific predicts way and effective control strategy is the main problems and difficulties.This research is aim to solve these practical problems.First of all,to gain the knowledge of the spare parts consumption characteristics and historical volatility,mass statistic analysis has been done,and some statistical result will be showed in the article to present researching result.Then a ARIMA forecast model and Regression analysis model are established to forecast the demand,and compare the forecast results.The Regression analysis model is better.At last according the actual situation of GZ passenger traffic section,classify the spare parts by ABC method,and then chose suitable inventory control strategies for different kind of spare parts,to reduce inventory costs and improve the work efficiency and management level.
