As a pillar industry of national economy,construction industry is not only an important force to promote the normal development of national economy,but also plays an active role in promoting the construction of new urbanization and maintaining social harmony and stability.Under the situation of fierce market competition and low profit margin,how to reduce the construction cost,increase the profits and improve the economic benefits of enterprises has become an urgent problem for many construction enterprises.Most scholars study cost control from the perspective of the whole,but there are few studies on the cost control of the details.In the actual construction process,the cost expenditure of the details will also have a greater impact on the construction cost.Therefore,it is necessary to combine the cost expenditure of the whole and the details in the construction project to control and improve the cost control ability of the construction enterprise in an all-round way.This paper first reviews and sorts out the research results of cost control by domestic and foreign scholars,summarizes the relevant theories and methods of construction cost control of engineering projects,and then describes the construction cost of Y project in the construction process by taking the Y project of J construction company as a case and the earned value method as the basis,combining the theory of cost control with the Y project of J construction company Problems in the control process.Then use the earned value method to analyze the project cost expenditure,combined with the target cost control theory,from the project construction cost control level to analyze,and get the direct and indirect causes of Y project construction cost control deviation.The direct causes are workers’ idling,material price rising,machinery cost exceeding the planned cost,etc.the indirect causes include personnel cost awareness,on-site cost management,construction technology and scheme,etc.,which affect cost control.By studying the above construction cost control problems existing in Y project,this paper puts forward corresponding improvement measures: dynamic adjustment of labor force,strengthening contract management,reasonable optimization of construction scheme,clear cost control objectives,establishment of cost management system,enthusiasm of cost control of high management personnel,regular accounting of cost control indicators,etc.,so as to reduce the construction cost of the project,Increase the profit of Y project and improve the benefit of enterprise.Finally,according to the actual analysis of Y project,the cost control experience is summarized,and the key points of J construction company in cost control in the future are predicted.I hope that through the cost control measures that have been formulated,more employees can participate in the cost control process through incentives,to jointly solve the cost control problem,improve the corporate profits for J construction company,increase the competitiveness of the enterprise,and make it better develop in the construction industry.
