The development of One Belt And One Road has boosted demand for transport in Asia and Europe.The scale of inbound and outbound railway transportation has expanded accordingly.Inbound and outbound railway transportation,also known as China Railway Express or international train transportation,is the substitute for inbound and outbound transport by sea and air.It has advantages in the major infectious diseases control and international supply chain security guarantee.However,there is still the problem of insufficient loading and unloading capacity at the gateway or in some landlocked countries in CR express.Combining with truck-and-trailer transport,two modes of transport organization are proposed for the terminal container distribution and main body transportation of CR express to deal with this problem.This paper includes the design of international railway drop and pull transport system,the summary of the relevant stakeholders in the transportation system and main factors analysis of transportation cost,so as to provide the basis for the establishment of the model.In view of the overall scheduling needs of the train transportation,the international transport mode of dropping at both ends has been analyzed as well as the establishment of a multi-knapsack model.Through the penalty function design,the impact of different arrival scenarios on transportation costs has been illustrated.Then based on the consideration of routes distribution and the regional characteristics of the transportation tasks,a model of dropping at both ends of CR express has been established.In addition,different solution methods has been designed and verified by design cases.The results show that the model can help adjust transportation costs and assist in the preparation of train transportation plans.In order to improve the terminal transportation efficiency,a truck-and-trailer transport model of terminal distribution has been set up,based on the classification of tasks.In this model,a soft time window has been established with the combination of the pre-transport and the end transport time windows for each task,as well as the analysis of the task transportation path.In addition,a mixed integer programming model with the goal of minimizing transportation cost,vehicle use cost and penalty cost has been established.This model has been solved by applying genetic algorithm and can provide ideas for the application of truck-and-trailer transport in CR express.
