TOD and station-city integration promote the connection between metro stations and surrounding areas.The planning,construction,and operation of urban metro have stimulated the development of commerce along the line,and commerce gathering around the metro stations.As an urban complex that emphasizes experience and consumption,the commercial complex is more closely connected with the metro station than other public buildings in the metro station area.As the link between the metro station and the commercial complex,the connection between the two not only meets transportation needs,but also provides commercial,leisure,entertainment and other functions.This dissertation first studies the basic overview of the connection between the metro station and the commercial complex,summarizes the connection mode,and find the problems in the connection based on the case study in Nanjing,and then proposes the design principles of the connection part.On these bases,referring to the excellent cases at home and abroad,this research studies the traffic optimization strategies of different connection modes and the vitality improvement strategy of the connection space,and finally applied to project practice.This dissertation is divided into two parts,the first part is the project practice text,and the next part is the research report.The research report consists of five parts,namely six chapters.The first part,corresponding to chapter 1,introduces the research background,determines the research object and content,sorts out the domestic and foreign research reviews,clarifies the research purpose,determines the research method,and formulates the research framework.The second part,corresponding to chapter 2,analyzes the general situation of the connecting part between the metro station and the commercial complex.According to the scale and attributes of the objects that metro stations connect to,the connection between the station and the surrounding functional space is divided into single connection and group connection.Then summarizes four single connection modes,namely hall connection,channel connection,square connection and atrium connection;and three group connection modes,namely decentralized connection mode,tree connection mode and network connection mode.Combined with a case study in Nanjing,this research analyzes the current situation of the connection between the metro station and the commercial complex,and finds out the existing problems.Based on the basic overview and case study,it is proposed that the connection should follow the three design principles of continuity,integrity and diversity.The third part,corresponding to chapter 3 and chapter 4,optimizes the connection mode and space of the subway station and commercial complex from the aspects of traffic streamline and spatial vitality.Chapter 3 separately optimizes traffic for single connection and group connection.Chapter 4 improves the space vitality of the connecting part from three aspects:diversity and compound,openness and interaction,and the place atmosphere.The fourth part,corresponding to chapter 5,introduces the project of property plot above the Nanjing Xiaguan station.The fifth part,corresponding to chapter 6,summarizes the research results and deficiencies,and looks forward to the development direction of the connecting part between metro station and commercial complex.The full text is about 72000 words,109 pictures and forms.
