With economic development and urbanization process,the development of a subway train in China leads to a new level of higher quality,higher levels and higher development.At the same time,the intensive development of cities has also led to the three-dimensional development of commercial complexes.In this case,a connecting space combining communication and transition between the two has been formed.The connecting space between the commercial complex and the subway can closely connect the two,bringing passenger flow to the commercial complex,generating consumption,increasing commercial value,and promoting economic growth.At the same time,it also has a passenger flow conversion function,which can provide rapid transportation transfer for shopping crowds,and improve transportation convenience.Strengthening the seamless connection between commercial space and rail transit,and leading the interconnection of comprehensive transportation infrastructure through the integration of rail transit and commercial space can strengthen the systematization and coordination of Qingdao’s comprehensive transportation.However,research on the theory and design of cohesive spaces in China is still in its initial stage.Although some foreign construction and design guidance experiences have been summarized,there are still no targeted theories and design methods to support practice.There are still many problems in the design and development of connecting spaces,which still need further improvement.From a user experience perspective,this paper explores the design of the internal interconnection space between commercial complexes and subways at the micro level.Firstly,the current situation and problems of the internal interfaces between business complexes and the subway in Qingdao were analyzed through field research,and the users’ needs were collected and summarized through the interview method.Secondly,through a questionnaire survey on five aspects of Qingdao Metro’s connecting space: user self perception,satisfaction with the spiritual needs of the space,space status,space satisfaction,and spatial importance,the relationship between crowd characteristics and spatial experience satisfaction and importance is analyzed using comprehensive analysis methods such as reliability,satisfaction,and cross analysis.Thirdly,it proposes the design principles of the system design,guidance,humanization,and aesthetic and promotional aspects of the connecting space,and summarizes the design content and specific implementation strategies of the connecting space from three aspects: guidance,humanization,and comfort.Finally,taking Qingdao Vientiane Metro Station as an example,this article will connect the space,optimize the space design,improve the spatial connection experience,and enhance the commercial value of commercial subway stations.
