Campus design,especially primary and secondary school design,has always been a key research type of architectural design in China.Primary and secondary schools have their own peculiarities compared to colleges and universities.The users of the campus are young people who are in an important stage of growth and development.The campus should not only be spatial and functional.To meet the needs of use,the specific design specifications,such as building height,lighting and sunshade,are more stringent.Because elementary and middle school campuses are often planned in major urban construction areas,the tight land area has become an unavoidable design problem.How to comprehensively design campus underground space has become a hot spot in campus design in recent years.However,designers often focus on how to enrich the space In terms of structure and optimized functional layout,the physical and environmental environment of underground functional space except for some teaching groups on the ground is less concerned,and the design of campus underground space light environment is relatively less studied at home and abroad.How to design the light environment of the underground space,especially the natural light environment,is of vital importance to the physical growth and mental health of young people.Regardless of the perspective of building energy saving,space comfort,and safety of use,natural light is relative to artificial lighting.Has an unparalleled advantage.Natural light is related to the absorption of nutrients such as the human body clock,hormone secretion,and vitamin D.A soft and even natural light environment can effectively protect students’ visual health,improve learning efficiency,and maintain activity.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the natural light environment of campus underground space.The methods of natural lighting in underground spaces include side windows,skylights,and Light-pipe System.Among them,side window lighting and skylight lighting are widely used lighting methods,and scholars at home and abroad have fully studied them.Light pipe,as a new type of natural lighting technology,is in its infancy in China.In recent years,with the gradual maturity of technology research and the gradual improvement of the industry chain,the application of Light-pipe technology has extended to a variety of architectural fields.Its application in campus architecture,especially in improving the natural light environment of campus underground space,has important guiding significance.By studying the lighting principle of the Light-pipe technology and analyzing the influencing factors that affect its lighting efficiency,such as: the installation angle of the lighting port,the length and angle of the Light-pipe tube,and the arrangement distance of the diffuser,it can help the architect in different building types and different The spatial characteristics of the lighting design provide standardized and theoretical design guidance,improve the efficiency of the Light-pipe system,and provide the best indoor space natural light environment in the most reasonable way and with the least construction cost.The design of the Central Road Primary School in Nanjing faces the above-mentioned difficulties in the design of the light environment of the underground space.Through the means based on Ecotect simulation analysis,the current status of the light environment in each underground space is specifically studied,and Light-pipe System is introduced to the early stage of architectural design as an ideal lighting method At the stage,through digital analysis of daylighting coefficient,natural illuminance,and uniform illuminance,a visual analysis chart is formed to guide the design of the light environment from a scientific and rational perspective,which is conducive to optimizing the overall structure of campus design,building a low-carbon environment,and using safety 3.Campus space conducive to the physical and mental health of primary and middle school students.
