Research On The Design And Application Of Dancing Lion Element In Modern Interior Furnishings

Dancing Lion as an intangible cultural heritage has strong national characteristics and deep historical profundity.Adhering to the inheriting and innovating design idea,adding dancing lion element into the design of modern interior furnishings will help spread the traditional cultural image to innumerable households,so that more people can feel its unique charm.The study summarized the history and development of dancing lion,and explored its cultural connotation.Through a survey of the current dancing lion cultural products,this paper analyzed the current situation of dancing lion element in the design application field.After optimizing and refining the shape,pattern,color and movement of the dancing lion,this paper innovated and re-design it through decomposition,reorganization and abstract expression techniques in order to match the design of modern interior furnishings.This paper analyzed the target users’ consumption needs,clarified the positioning and connotation of practical design products,and explored the application form of dancing lion in modern interior furnishings.Then,the practical research of dancing lion element in modern interior furnishings was gradually completed by using foam boards and napkins as the main materials.This study is expected to exert a beneficial effect on the inheriting and developing dancing lion culture,and provide new design thoughts and design materials for modern interior furnishing design.
