The trehalo pattern in Dunhuang Grottoes is one of the most valuable parts of Dunhuang graphic art.After the baptism of all ages,the remaining trehalo pattern is large,with exquisite composition,complex patterns,beautiful colors,and the high artistic value comparable to the city.Based on the aesthetic feeling and cultural connotation of the design of the caisson pattern,combined with the requirements of modern interior furnishing design,this paper focuses on the artistic characteristics of Dunhuang trehaloid pattern in the indoor furnishing,and analyzes the key points of the application of the pattern in the interior furnishing.Further explain how to apply Dunhuang trehalo pattern to modern interior design.This subject is composed of six parts.The first part is the introduction.Starting from the research of Dunhuang trehalowells,after understanding the research status of Dunhuang trehalowells at home and abroad,the purpose and significance of this research are clarified.The second part is the overview of the design of the trehaloid and the interior furnishing.Firstly,the origin and characteristics of the pattern are explored,and the development history and design status of the interior furnishing are combed.Based on this,the feasibility of using the pattern of trehaloid in indoor furnishing is discussed.The third part is the artistic characteristics and forms of the pattern of trehaloid used in indoor furnishings.After analyzing the data,it is found that the symmetry and rhythm beauty,color and form beauty,cultural connotation and simplicity beauty of Dunhuang caisson pattern are used in the interior furnishing.The analysis of the specific existing forms of Dunhuang caisson pattern in the interior furnishing is carried out,which lays a foundation for the subsequent design.The fourth part is the application method of caisson pattern in interior furnishings,summarizes the existing mainstream production technology,and interprets the role of material,color,layout and artistic atmosphere in promoting the artistic value of caisson pattern.The key points should be paid attention to when using the trehaloid pattern in indoor furnishing.The fifth part is the practical application of the project in the finishing design,further confirming the volume,material and style of indoor furnishings.According to the specific interior furnishings,the corresponding caisson pattern is selected,and the caisson pattern and interior furnishings are combined for secondary design to produce modern interior furnishings with caisson pattern in line with modern interior needs.Finally,the paper summarizes the key points of the application of the trehaloid pattern in the indoor furnishing and the future development prospects,and points out the shortcomings of this research,which provides a reference for the subsequent research on the application of the design in the interior furnishing.
