| The arrival of China’s consumer society has changed the development trend of the city.Various consumer places have become an important factor affecting the composition of urban space,and culture has also become the starting point of the shaping of consumer space.Through the construction of symbols,it gradually integrates into the production of urban space.In recent years,cultural strategy has been widely used in the development of historical districts.Because of its advantages in increasing economic added value,creating city image,and shaping city business card,the government and capital began to pay attention to it.The historical districts of the old city contains the city’s cultural gene and local memory,which is not only the scarce stock space in the city,but also the core field of cultural tourism and cultural consumption.The renewal and transformation of historic sites represented by "Xintiandi of Shanghai" and "1912 blocks of Nanjing" are gradually developed into modern consumption places through the implanting of consumer symbols and the entry of new consumption formats.Although the commercialization and symbolization of space bring some economic value,it also leads to the alienation of historical value,homogenization of commercial format and weakening of daily life.In the construction of cultural consumption space in the future,how to correctly examine the relationship between district culture and commercial development,and maintain the development status of population diversification,spatial characteristics and sustainable consumption,is an urgent problem to be solved in urban renewal.In recent years,with the rapid development of cultural tourism in Xi’an,the role and orientation of the city’s historical areas have changed greatly,from the previous "cultural perspective" to "cultural experience" and "cultural consumption".The rising of " Internet celebrity city " provides an opportunity for this study.Due to its unique geographical location and cultural significance,the southern section of Shuncheng Lane in Xi’an has become the concentration of cultural consumption in Xi’an.However,the single commercialization phenomenon,homogeneous commercial format and gradually worn-out space environment have brought about the cultural crisis in the southern section of Shuncheng Lane,which makes the street unable to maintain its sustainable vitality.Based on the obvious cultural characteristics and new consumption patterns of the south section of Shuncheng Lane,this paper explores the internal relationship between cultural consumption and street renewal,and puts forward suggestions on the renewal and reconstruction of the south section of Shuncheng Lane.The core content includes the following four aspects.The first part expounds the changes of demand,activity and space in the era of consumption,interprets the concept,type,characteristics and value of cultural consumption,analyzes the practical problems of Chinese cultural consumption,and deconstructs the internal relationship between cultural consumption and historical streets.The second part combs the development and evolution of Shuncheng Lane,analyzes its current urban role,and investigates and analyzes the material space and social activities of the southern section of Shuncheng Lane,so as to get the value and practical problems of the southern section of Shuncheng Lane.On the basis of the study of the area,the southern section of Shuncheng Lane is divided into residential type,commercial type and traffic type,the commercial street is taken as the specific object of the following study.In the third part,according to the characteristics of cultural consumption,the three commercial streets are divided into three types: creative and cultural consumption space,historical and cultural consumption space,and market culture consumption space.The investigation and analysis of consumption activities,commercial formats and material space are carried out to summarize the practical problems of different types of streets.The fourth part reconstructs the value system of street space from the perspective of cultural consumption.Through the elaboration of the principles of street renewal,it puts forward the overall renewal strategy,and then puts forward the targeted renewal strategy from the three aspects of activities,business forms and space according to the different problems of the three streets.In general,based on the perspective of cultural consumption,this paper examines the development status and development trend of the south section of Shuncheng Lane,and puts forward the corresponding renewal strategies.The purpose is to make the cultural development of the south section of Shuncheng Lane recognized and inherited,to drive the creative culture,historical culture and market culture at the same time,and to effectively improve the consumption experience of tourists and the daily life of residents,so as to form a healthy and sustainable cultural consumption space,and really creates a historic street that can show the cultural characteristics of Xi’an and revitalize the vitality of the region. |
