Abstract/Summary:
Tibetan traditional architecture is different from other national architecture and it’s style is very unique,especially multiple architectural styles that influenced by different geographical environment and cultural customs.The so-called Hehuang area refers to the area,between the Yellow River and Huangshui River,where in the southwest of Gansu and southeast of Qinghai.This area is a relatively complete geographical unit in the view of perspective of geography.Since ancient times,this area has been occupied by the Han nationality and other ethnic minorities.It has been influenced by the Han culture,the Tibetan national customs and living culture have already blended with the Han culture in this area.The generation of eaves gallery space that is a common space type in the traditional Tibetan folk house of Hehuang area has a close relationship with the integration of Tibetan culture and Han culture.Therefore,the study of eaves gallery space has great help for the understanding and research of Tibetan ethnic migration and ethnic cultural blending.The main research object of this paper is eaves gallery space of traditional Tibetan folk house in hehuang area.The main research methods include of anthropology,history,typology,phenomenology and so on.After in-depth investigation of the residential houses in this area and the living style of the residents,the eaves gallery space of the traditional Tibetan residential houses in Hehuang area was combed from the outside to the inside.The first is the external interface of the eaves gallery space,the second is the study of the internal space form,and the third is the study of other spatial relations with dwellings and the summary of the internal spatial relations of the eaves gallery space.Finally,four spatial characteristics are obtained: linearity,intermediation,edge effect and publicity.In addition,on the basis of pure spatial research,combined with the production,life and religious culture of local residents,the activities in eaves gallery space base on different culture backgrounds are also revealed.Therefore,the research of this paper has more practical significance.In addition to the research from the outside to the inside in eaves gallery space,the research perspective is expanded again.Through the horizontal comparison of the eaves gallery space of other folk dwellings that is similar to Tibetan folk dwellings in Hehuang area,the demonstration of this paper about eaves gallery space of traditional Tibetan folk dwellings in Hehuang area is further verified to consolidate the research results.Through induction and summary,the spatial characteristics of eaves gallery space and the existing activity content are sorted out and concluded to the following two conclusions: on the one hand,the diversity of spatial characteristics makes the eaves gallery space become to the most abundant activity place for living and production activities in folk dwellings;On the other hand,various spatial characteristics,abundant spatial activities and pleasant spatial proportion jointly create the eaves gallery space of traditional Tibetan dwellings in Hehuang area.At the same time,these three factors are interlinked,which also reflects the unique Tibetan living culture in this area from many aspects.It has a great significance for Tibetan traditional dwellings in Hehuang area to study and protection.Finally,combined with the existing research content,this paper tries to solve the existing problems in the eaves gallery space of traditional Tibetan residential houses in Hehuang area during the research period.First of all,on the one hand,we understand the types of problems existing at the present stage through research,on the other hand,we sort out the possible causes of the problems through questionnaire survey and data access.Secondly,analyzing three aspects from the adaptability of eaves gallery space plane,the rationality of the sun room and the correct understanding of national culture.Finally,it will get three conclusions :1.The space plane of eaves gallery should conform to nature.2.The sun room can not improve the indoor thermal environment well,and this renovation is not consistent with the motivation of the villagers themselves.The author also tries to design a kind of closed eaves gallery space to meet the spatial characteristics in this paper.3.National residential culture should be guided correctly,and the impact of consumption culture on traditional residential buildings should be gradually eliminated.
