Study On The Activation Of CBD Public Space

A city’s over-rapid modernization will aim at the economic benefits of its overall development.Therefore,in this process,the priority issue is often not the need of individual users in the city.As a result,the public space that has been built in a mordern city will generate many negative places.CBD in many cities has high plot ratio,accessible transportation and more urban planning population.However,even with the advantage of using cardinality,CBD of many cities is still not the center of urban vitality.When we come back to this problem after over-rapid modernization,the activation of CBD urban public space has become a topic worth further study.In the CBD of Shenzhen Futian,the research object of this paper,there are also many areas with poor performance of vitality.Therefore,taking Futian CBD as an example,we try to work out a way to analyze the urban public space and deduce the activation strategy.The general idea is to deduce the correlation between urban place form and vitality through a series of investigation and statistics on place form and vitality,and to deduce different basic methods of public space activation in spatial function and perception.At the same time,problems in existing public spaces can be found in the survey and statistics.According to the specific site form problems and the basic methods that can be used to activate the site,the specific activation strategy is derived.The whole paper consists of seven chapters,except for the introduction of the first chapter and the conclusion of the seventh chapter.The content is generally as follows:The second chapter is the construction background of Futian CBD,and analyzes the potential of its urban public space activation.The third chapter divides and classifies the public space and evaluates the public space form of Futian CBD statistically by means of diagrams.The fourth chapter measures the vitality in the divided public Spaces,including the evaluation of the participation rate of public life and the continuity of urban life.The fifth chapter is the superposition analysis of the public space form and the vitality measure of the public space.The sixth chapter is the exploration of the possibility of activation,according to the previous analysis.It is hoped that the study of this paper will provide some theoretical references for the activation design of CBD public space in various cities in the future,so as to promote the vitality of urban public space.
