The practice of architectural design based on BIM technology is still one of the hottest topics in the architecture circle.This article combines the market application of BIM technology.The application of BIM technology in "forward design" is extremely difficult.Regardless of policy factors,environmental factors are not Talk,the main reason is that the current BIM design platform has a high threshold for application of tools.Market consensus usually compares the process of CAD to BIM conversion to the stage from paper drawing to CAD computer copy drawing in the late 1980 s and early 1990 s.From manual drawing to CAD-assisted design,the author has only changed the efficiency of the architect’s drawing.The architectural design thinking in the two-dimensional mode has not changed,the drawing standards have not changed,and the design thinking based on the two-dimensional work interface has not changed.However,from CAD drawing to the application of BIM technology,it actually impacted the original thinking of architects.The author proposed to realize BIM "forward design" first to establish the BIM thinking of experience,and build it together with new BIM thinking and new BIM platform.The "generative design" workflow based on the BIM technology platform is applied to the architectural design of rail transit elevated stations.Architectural design practice is the best method and means to understand and apply BIM technology.The article abandons a single BIM software platform.Currently,the development quality of software platforms of various brands on the market is uneven and the application focuses are different.The author will follow the new BIM Thinking,multiple software such as Autodesk Revit,Rhino,Grasshopper For Rhino,etc.are jointly organized into a set of composite BIM application platform,so that different software can perform its own duties.This paper analyzes and summarizes the architectural design characteristics of the urban rail transit elevated station itself,and extracts the architectural space,external form,internal function,and flow lines of the urban rail transit elevated station.And take BIM thinking as the basis of design research,use multiple integrated BIM software as the design research platform,use "generative design" under BIM technology as the design research method,use the urban rail elevated station as the design research carrier,and take Xi’an City The Chuangxin Port Station of Jiaotong University of Line 5 is a design research case,and a set of BIM application strategies that can be applied to the current market are drawn.This article has six chapters.The first chapter points out the key concepts of BIM,generative design,BIM thinking,etc.in order to explore the history and significance of BIM development,and proposes research methods and innovation points.The second chapter focuses on the specific application method and application process of BIM in each stage of architectural design.The third chapter focuses on field investigation of relevant actual projects and study of relevant cases.The fourth chapter concludes a series of parameters under BIM technology in architectural design and derives the BIM application strategy of "generative design".Chapter 5 takes the station building design of Xi’an Jiaotong University Chuangxingang Station as an example,uses multiple BIM platforms,and uses "generative design" as a means to derive the general strategy of BIM application in the design stage of the elevated station architectural plan.Chapter 6presents the disadvantages of the current BIM-based generative design in the practical application of architectural design and the aspects that can be improved.The article hopes to introduce "generative" design methods based on BIM technology into the architectural design of urban rail elevated stations,and streamline organization,space construction,and functional composition can be used in traffic architectural design from human subjective experience judgments to informatization models.The logic toppled down,and finally came to the application strategy of BIM technology in "forward design".
