Research On Urban Space Renewal And Reconstruction Along The Elevated Road

As a quick and effective way to solve traffic problems,the construction of elevated roads once became a craze in China.However,the contribution of viaducts to the city lies more in the single mode of traffic use,without giving full consideration to the embodiment of the city’s economic,cultural and environmental values.With the development of time,the negative impact of viaducts on the city has gradually emerged.For the urban space affected by the elevated road,we need to use the means of urban renewal to solve the actual problems.Taking Hailaer Street in Hohhot as an example,this paper explores the strategy of urban space optimization along the elevated road,hoping to provide a reference for the urban space renewal and reconstruction along the elevated road,and provide a new thinking Angle for the healthy development and quality improvement of the city in the future.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research on urban renewal and the space along the elevated road,takes urban repair as the basis of urban renewal,and takes urban image theory as the basis of urban design.And draw lessons from the relevant elevated road space design,street space repair practical excellent cases,play a practical guiding role in this research.Based on theories and cases,through the basic research on the elevated road,three elements of space along the elevated road from the perspective of urban renewal are summarized,namely,urban land,road space and building interface.The space sub-elements involved in all kinds of space are analyzed in detail,and the general characteristics of space along the elevated road are clarified.Through field exploration,questionnaire and interview method,the Hohhot hailar street space on the spot investigation and the crowd using characteristic research,summarized the status quo of hailaer highways along the street space characteristics,as well as the construction of highway on the effects of these three types of space elements,and put forward the people to safety,smoothness,convenience,comfort degree of different demands.Taking the above content as the breakthrough point,this paper puts forward the ideas of renewal and transformation aiming at these spatial elements.In terms of urban land renewal,this paper proposes that we should pay attention to the transformation of functional orientation,strengthen the leadership of core nodes,and solve the problems of functional lag and space fragmentation.In the aspect of road space renewal,structural measures and engineering measures are carried out.The structural measures emphasize the redistribution of the right of way,advocate centralized parking,and strengthen the horizontal connection of the road,so as to solve the problems of safety deficiency caused by the intersection of streamlines.Engineering measures focus on landscape remodeling,facilities optimization and the design of the space under the bridge to improve the quality of the street space,increase the convenience and pleasure;In the aspect of building interface renewal,it is proposed to guide facade repair and top section renovation by zoning and classification,so as to solve problems such as stale interface,disharmonious color and damaged context.In order to solve the space problem and improve the quality of the environment,the concrete and feasible renewal strategy is put forward.The research results of this paper can provide reference for the future urban renewal practice of Hailaer Street in Hohhot City,and also enrich the current thinking on urban space along the elevated road in the field of urban renewal in China.
