As an important part of the domestic leasing market,long-term rental apartments provide modern urban youth with a space environment for living,studying and working,and relaxing and entertaining.However,there are few applications in smart home products.The main reason is that tenants do not understand each other and the relationship is relatively cold.The addition of smart home to the room by apartment operators will greatly increase operating costs.The product segmentation of the smart home industry has not fully touched the long-term In the area of renting an apartment,such an apartment environment contradicts the youth group’s pursuit of individualization and quality of living space,and is not conducive to the long-term development of long-term rental apartments and the personal mental health of the youth group.Based on the above background and current situation,this topic takes the smart home in long-term rental apartments as the research object,analyzes the lifestyle,living behavior and smart home use needs of young tenants,and aims to build smart home products suitable for young people in long-term rental apartments..Because of the current domestic long-term rental apartment industry and the development of smart homes in the apartment,using the literature collation method,observation method,case analysis method and ethnographic method,the three first-tier cities have invested a lot of capital and the market scale is large.Conducted field research on several long-term rental apartment brands,including Vanke Park Residence,YOU+International Youth Community,Bijia International Community,Moore Apartment,Beijing’s Ziru Residence,Vanke Park Residence,and Tianjin’s YOU+ International Youth Community.Summary Show their basic information,supporting functions,spatial characteristics and home intelligence level.Among them,under the ethnographic research method,go to the long-term rental apartment to experience the living in the apartment,deeply feel the apartment’s living environment and the characteristics of the smart home concept;and analyze the youth groups at different levels from the five aspects of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.Life demands.Using interviews and questionnaire surveys,in-depth collection of residential feedback and internal home use of young tenants,and summarizing the basic personal information,residential behavior habits,smart home use habits and pain points of young tenants.Based on these research and analysis,user information is transformed,and user portrait elements such as the length of stay in the apartment of young tenants,lifestyle,product attitude,etc.are extracted,and user portraits of young tenants are produced.According to the three stages before use,during use,and after use,the key stages,behavior touch points,thoughts and pain points of young tenants using smart lamps in apartment rooms are sorted out,and user characteristics and pain points that are useful for the subsequent design stage are extracted.Design opportunities,focusing on the design practice of smart home products in apartments under the Internet of Things.Taking smart lamps as an example,we will obtain design opportunities based on the analysis of corresponding competing products,and design and complete smart lighting products in long-term rental apartments around these opportunities to improve the lighting methods of apartment rooms.Using the Internet of Things technology to make products smarter,improve the quality of life of young tenants,greatly increase the convenience and interactive interest of products,and enhance user experience.This project takes the modern urban youth group as the center of the design,regards the apartment living space as an important scene that carries the life of the youth group,and extracts the intelligent lamps in the lighting system closely related to the people in the scene for innovative design,and provides multi-functionality for young tenants Lighting equipment can help improve the quality of living and increase the indoor interaction between people;it is hoped that after meeting tenants’ living demands,it will not only improve the intelligence level of the apartment,attract more people to live here,but also serve as an operator.Bring more benefits and promote long-term development.
