Study On Landscape Character Assessment Of Mountainous Urban Fringe For Landscape Management

As the transition zone between urban and rural areas,urban fringe is the reserve of urban expansion and the key area of urban-rural integration development.Due to the multiple limitations of lack of construction land and fragile ecological environment in mountainous cities,the development of urban fringe is more related to the overall spatial form and function of cities.At the same time,the urban fringe is of great significance to the sustainable development of urban land space,the improvement of ecological environment quality,and the restoration of characteristic landscape.However,due to the lack of planning,uneven development,inadequate supervision and many other problems in the past actual development and construction,the mountainous urban fringe,under the dual pressure of ecological protection and urban expansion,has encountered such problems as the decline of agricultural landscape characteristics and the highly fragmented landscape.It is of great practical significance to the sustainable development and territorial spatial planning of mountain cities how to better manage and plan the area,guide the positive change of landscape in the fringe area,and bring it into the functional system of urban development effectively.Landscape management system based on landscape character assessment is a new way to link the relationship between social economy and spatial form in the new era and to achieve the goal of sustainable development.It is not only of great significance to the continuation and expression of regional landscape characters,but also provides a method for the realization of multi-functional landscape development and integration.At the same time,it also provides a physical and operational spatial framework for the sustainable assessment,monitoring and management of regional spatial development,and contributes to the realization of "positive" landscape change and sustainable development in mountainous urban fringe.It provides new methods and ideas to solve the landscape problems such as the separation of spatial form and function of landscape and the decline of agricultural landscape in mountainous urban fringe area.Based on this,this article takes a typical mountain city fringe of Chengjiang Town for example,try starting from the concept of landscape management,through the characteristics of the landscape assessment system theory and the practice research,and the typical urban fringe landscape planning management experience of the research summary,combining with the characteristics of mountainous urban fringe landscape,build Chengjiang Town area and urban fringe landscape management system.According to build the Chengjiang Town area research framework of urban fringe landscape management,using the characteristics of landscape assessment method,the system was studied for the Chengjiang Town fringe landscape,determines the Chengjiang Town of verdant mountains ancient pastoral,pits,valley stream of typical landscape characteristic,and the zoning of the landscape characteristics of different type unit.Then,taking the restoration of typical landscape characters and the development of ecotourism functions as the objectives,the landscape sensitivity assessment and landscape visual beauty assessment were carried out,and the policy objectives of each type of landscape character zoning were determined,including five categories: conserve,conserve& restore,maintain,maintain&enhance,and creation.Based on the characteristics of the regional landscape development potential pressure and development goals,Chengjiang Town area urban fringe landscape management strategy is put forward,in order to realize the Chengjiang Town area of urban fringe of typical landscape characteristic,the ecological environment improvement and regional multifunctional landscape dynamic activation,implement positive guidance and intervention in the fringe area landscape change,for the urban fringe space planning management to provide basic data and framework,and provide a reference for other mountain in the edge of the city landscape management and using for reference.
