A Study On Strategies Of Nanning City Rural Housing Design Collection’s Applying The Design Of Self-built Residence In Nanning Rural Areas

The rural housing design collections all over China are being constantly enriched and improved.As a product of the time,the time-limited rural housing design collection determines its periodical usage of self-built housing design in rural areas.The design collection is compiled to meet the demand of the government to promote the rural landscape and improve the residential quality of rural residents.Taking jurisdictions of Nanning city as an example,this paper adopts a lot of methods such as field research,literature review,theoretical construction,classification,analysis,discussion,and conclusion.In this way,the paper attempts to find out the factors influencing self-built rural housing design,including targets,facts,demands,and concepts,from rural residents,government,basic living environment and so on.With regard to the design of rural housing in specific counties,towns,or villages,important and necessary factors are fully taken into account when the collection refers to rural self-built residence design.This paper,with theories and methods of architectural programming,sorts out the architectural elements of existing traditional and newly-established rural houses in Nanning rural areas.Additionally,it selects factors of applying rural self-built residence design in compiling the collection,analyzes how each factor impacts such a process,classifies pertaining results,and puts forward coping strategies as well as designing methods.Among these steps,selecting and strategy-making are critical,which are related to whether the rural housing plan can meet the government’s requirement,win the approval of rural residents,and be fully understood by the designer and used in the design.In the final chapter,by using theories and methods of architectural programming,as well as analyzing strategies on designing factors,the paper carries out practical studies and designs on rural houses in Malu village,Mashan county,Nanning city.
