Design Study On The Living Renewal Of The Vernacular Landscape In Linfeng Stockaded Village

In the new era,people’s awareness of the necessity of protecting traditional villages has gradually increased,and many theories have been applied to the protection and development of traditional villages.However,the one-sided and limited development ideas,unscientific and blind construction and the lack of residents’ consciousness of protection have brought multiple challenges to the traditional village vernacular landscape,such as the destruction of landscape,cultural loss and spatial abandonment,making the villages lose their original vivid folklore scenes,thus The cultural lineage of the village is cut off and its soul is lost.Therefore,it is very important to change the status quo of the past and contemporary dialogue of traditional village vernacular landscape,improve the village habitat and ecological environment,inherit the ecological wisdom and humanistic connotation,and meet the material and spiritual needs of people through the living renewal design approach.The thesis is based on a combination of theoretical research and design practice,with the design of the living renewal of traditional village vernacular landscape as the main research scope,focusing on the composition of the traditional village vernacular landscape to sort out and refine,and explore the living renewal of the traditional village vernacular landscape in coordination with nature and culture,with the realistic problems as the guide,the needs of the people as the root,the core resources as the basis,and the design principles as the premise.The effective strategies and specific ways for the revitalization of traditional village vernacular landscape are explored in collaboration with nature and culture.Taking Linfeng stockaded village,a traditional village,as the research object,we conduct in-depth field research,visit households,collect and sort out relevant literature,classify and analyze the existing elements of Linfeng stockaded village’s vernacular landscape,refine the important values of the village,and summarize several difficulties faced by the village,such as the deterioration of the living environment,the destruction of the originality of traditional dwellings,the serious phenomenon of spatial abandonment and the endangerment of traditional culture.Based on these problems,we propose principles and strategies for the revitalization of the native landscape of Linfeng stockaded village through the experience of classic cases at home and abroad,adjusting the form and optimizing the content by relying on the local natural ecological environment,and providing four aspects for the protection,utilization and development of the village,namely,the revitalization of the natural landscape,the revitalization of the material landscape,the revitalization of the immaterial landscape elements,and the revitalization of the spatial functions of the village.The feasibility plan is proposed,and the specific planning and design for the living renewal of the vernacular landscape of Linfeng stockaded village is launched.In order to provide a reference for the protection and development of traditional village vernacular landscape,and to help the realistic needs of sustainable development research in traditional villages.The paper has 64 pictures,3 tables,and 61 references.
