Research On The Landscape Renewal Of Traditional Villages From The Perspective Of "MEME"

The traditional villages record and retain the unique wisdom,architectural aesthetics,cultural beliefs and life customs of ancient Chinese people,and are agem for studying historical and cultural heritage.However,changes in transportation methods,changes in production methods,and expansion of living spaces brought about by the rapid development of cities all affect the future development of traditional villages.Under the dual effects of external forces and insufficient inter nalrenewal power,traditional villages have gradually declined or even disappeared.As the first batch of controlled and protected ancient villages in Suzhou City,the East Village of Xishan Island in Taihu Lake has profound historical and cultural heritage,rich natural and cultural landscapes,retains a large amount of architectural heritage and intangible cultural heritage,and has outstanding research value.The existing research of traditional villages focuses on protection,but in the context of rapid economic and social development,simple protection cannot solve the sustainable development of ancient villages.Therefore,through systematic research on the landscape renewal of the East Village,using memes 'own inheritance,replication,mutation and other characteristics,looking for a reasonable way of cultural inheritance,constructing a modern village spatial landscape and reshaping the village 's development vitality,which has important theoretical and practical significance for traditional village research.This article summarizes the theoretical literature and empirical cases of memes' research at home and abroad,extracts the characteristics,expression carriers and transmission modes of memes,and establishes a "meme-landscape" transmission model;based on detailed literature compilation,field visits and village interviews,to sort out the landscape composition of east village.By studying the structure of material memes and hierarchical research of intangible memes,the current status of memes in east village,the process of analogous biological genetics and the method of product gene extraction are identified,and the genealogy map of east villages' memes is constructed.The study found that the memes of esat village have the phenomena of carrier decline,node disappearance,and diminished values.A systematic analysis of east villages' landscape renewal dilemma,including large population loss,insufficient function renewal,traditional ideas and modern culture conflicts,and low implementation efficiency as well as the problem of insufficient construction funds,and explored the external and internal driving forces of landscape renewal.Finally,it summarizes the renewal objectives,renewal principles and renewal methods of the east village landscape,and proposes specific renewal measures at the landscape material level,non-material level,functional level,economic level and social level.According to the investigation and research on the landscape renewal of east village,the article draws the following conclusions: First,the traditional village landscape renewal should emphasize the parallel protection of resources and cultural inheritance,and the inheritance and development of traditional culture through landscape renewal;Second,combining meme theory to realize landscape structure and level research,can more systematically analyze the currentstatus and problems of traditional village memes,and then propose targeted solutions;Third,the landscape update process needs to coordinate multiple forces to meet the needs of multiple subjects,to maximize the benefits of village construction and development.The construction and development of traditional villages in the future must focus not only on the shaping of the spatial landscape,but also on the inheritance of traditional culture.During the renewal process,the principles of holism,local adaptation,people-oriented,and regional cultural heritage should be followed to protect the local natural environment and reshape the village communication space to meet the needs of villagers 'lives,improve infrastructure construction,enrich villagers' spiritual culture,and form a systematic traditional village landscape renewal model through transformation and upgrading at the economic level and mutual benefit and win-win at the social level.
