Research On Outdoor Public Space Of Urban Residential Neighborhood Design Strategies For Physical Activity Promotion In Cold Climates

Building a residential environment to promote physical activity is an important way to help overcome chronic diseases and improve public health.Taking the outdoor public space of cold residential area as the research object and taking the physical activity demand of residents as the starting point,this paper selects 18 residential areas in the main urban area of Zhangjiakou as the typical cases,synthetically applies the theories of social ecology,new urbanism and healthy city,analyzes the outdoor public space environment elements related to physical activity,discusses the interactive mechanism between "space environment-human-physical activity ",and puts forward the outdoor public space design strategy based on physical activity to promote the construction of healthy community and healthy city.The paper consists of six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background and significance of the paper,the related concepts involved,the contents and objectives of the research,the research methods and frameworks,and is the basic research of the paper.The second chapter is a review of relevant theories and research,mainly including relevant theoretical research,domestic and foreign research review and domestic and foreign case studies.The relevant theoretical research mainly summarizes the basic theories of social ecology,new urbism,healthy city and the domestic and foreign research results,home and abroad in the LA and New York,Shanghai and Taiwan,which provide theoretical basis and practical reference for subsequent research.The third chapter is the physical activity analysis of cold residential area,selected 18 residential areas in the main urban area of Zhangjiakou as the research objects.Firstly,the survey objects are briefly described.Secondly,the physical activity status map and demand map of residents in the cold area were obtained through the combination of field survey,field photography and in-depth interview.Finally,based on the integrated analysis of the survey results,combined with theoretical and practical research,an integrated map of physical activity optimization for residents in cold residential areas was constructed.The four chapter is an analysis of the interaction relations between outdoor public space elements and physical activities.It starts from road space,square space,square space,green space,house space and boundary space.It is found that the road space elements mainly affect the physical activity level through road network design,section design and environmental design;the square space elements mainly affect the physical activity level through location design,functional design and safety design;the green space elements mainly affect the location design,path design and landscape design;the physical activity level through orientation design,facility design and safety design;the boundary space elements mainly affect the physical activity level through the entrance and exit design and boundary design.The fifth chapter is the design of outdoor public space in cold settlements based on physical activities,including design principles and design strategies.The design principles include people-oriented,climate adaptation,composite sharing,health priority and public participation.The design strategy is proposed around five types of space elements: road space,square space,green space,house side space and boundary space,which are safe and convenient,and lively.Friendly road space design strategy,complex,diversified,open and shared square space design strategy,green space design strategy that is suitable for travel,rest,and sensibility,home side space design strategy that is friendly,livable,and harmonious,as well as interconnection and integration symbiosis boundary space design strategy.The sixth chapter is conclusions and prospects.It summarizes the research conclusions,reflects on the deficiencies of the research,and makes a prospect for the future research direction.
