Research On Planning And Design Of Urban Wetland Parks Integrating Regional Cultures And Ecological Landscapes

Hiding in a noisy corner of cities or remotely located in a site of suburbs,urban wetland parks form a symbol of urban traffic geography and provide the best public place for citizens to take a rest,watch natural scenes,and popularize science.The harmonious development of both urban customs and ecologies can be demonstrated in wetland parks.Therefore,the regional and ecological features have become two important characteristics of urban wetland parks.At present,with late starts and quick progresses in wetland research in China,the planning and design of urban wetland parks under the domestic environment is inevitably lose the wetlands’ original characteristics due to excessive stylization.In actual construction,due to too much attention to the stacking of landscapes,the original natural ecological conditions of wetlands are often destroyed.As a result,the massive production of wetland parks across China has created many well-crafted and highly similar artificial gardens,thus losing the advantages of wetland resources for cities.Based on the background of this topic,this study summarizes the research progress in wetland protection and landscape design at home and abroad by reviewing literatures,and analyzes the relevance between such concepts as urban wetland park,regional culture and ecological landscape,so as to demonstrate the necessity of shaping the regional cultural landscape and ecological landscape in urban wetland parks.At the same time,combined with relevant cases,this study discusses the development status of urban wetland parks under different perspectives from the dimensions of regional cultures and ecological landscapes,so as to trigger reflections on the difficulties with the current planning and design of urban wetland parks in China.Then accordingly,at such layers as design principles,expression carriers and strategic methods,this study discusses the planning,design and expression Chinses urban wetland parks based on the integration of regional cultures and ecological landscapes,so as to provide theoretical support and practical operability for the planning and design of urban wetland parks.Finally,in the research principle of combining theory and practice,taking the Nanchang Aixi Lake Forest Wetland Park,a local wetland landscape in Jiangxi,as the research object,this study summarizes this wetland’s regional culture and ecological landscape construction into two aspects,i.e.,macro-positioning and micro-implementation,based on the regional ecological environment and local cultural background of the wetland.Then,this study specifically elaborates the planning and design content of Aixi Lake Forest Wetland Park with integrated regional cultures and ecological landscapes,in order to provide feasible measures for the planning and design of China’s urban wetland parks in the future.
