Study On Urban Wetland Park Design Based On The Regional Culture

In recent years the importance of wetlands has got public recognition all over the world.China's protection and utilization of wetlands is being underway. As an important part of thenational wetland protection system, city wetland park, not only protects the ecologicalbenefits, but also makes it possible to bring the reasonable ecological development intopeople's lives in cities-being an idle place for going sightseeing, relaxing, and scientificexpedition, therefore becoming favorable all over the country. However, the research onconstruction modes of wetland park is still at the starting stage, consequently resulting in theimitation and learning progress in the local wetland constructions. It makes wetland parks indifferent places have the similar sight, losing different regional features. It is important toresearch on how to manifest the region characteristic and promote the whole city recognitionfor wetland park, which is included in the urban green planning systemOn the basis of wetland ecological protection, and taking how to express the regionalculture in the urban wetland park as the research object. Firstly, this paper studies the theoryof urban wetland park and regional culture, analyzes the history of development of urbanwetland park and landscape design process based on regional culture in order to take note ofthe classical design ideas. Secondly, This paper analyzes the relationship between urbanwetland park and regional culture, clear the application features of regional culture in urbanwetland park. Then selectes six outstanding city wetland parks in China, and make in-depthinterpretation of them from two aspects of regional culture resources and the the applicationof local cultures in the construction of urban wetland park, summarizes the expressionmethods of local cultures and the existing shortcomings. Finally, Based on the theoreticalanalysis and case study, the paper explores the expression principle, expression carrier,expression content and expression technique. It proposes that the local culture should beselected dialectically, and further used reasonably, from the perspective of development,Dealing with the relationship of traditional and modern,to be active in learning and using offoreign advanced technology, striving to create a combination of regional, cultural and timesof urban wetland park landscape.
