Research On The Reuse Design Of Old Industrial Buildings Based On The Theory Of "Transparency"

In recent years,with the acceleration of my country’s urbanization process,traditional industrial enterprises located in the center of the city or close to the edge of the city have gradually moved out,and more and more Old Industrial Buildings have been left unused and faded out of people’s vision.These idle Old Industrial Buildings,due to lack of management,a ffect the overall style of the city.With the increasing shortage of land resources,these Old Industrial Buildings have once again entered the field of vision of architecture.People have discovered that although they have lost their original use value,they have achieved the continuation of their lives after transformation.Therefore,the reuse of Old Industrial Buildings has great practical significance for the development of the city.So far,there have been many successful cases of reuse of Old Industrial Buildings at home and abroad.The research of this subject is mainly based on the reuse design of Old Industrial Buildings.First,through the study of successful cases of reuse of Old Industrial Buildings at home and abroad,combined with the preliminary investigation of the project,summed up the development trends of reuse of Old Industrial Building design,and the design of the main pro blems in the project,is the contradiction between building and site,respectively the contradictions between architectural space and the contradiction between old and new elements coexist The article tries to solve the above problems with the help of transparency theorr in the design.Through the research of related theories,starting from the shaping of the site environment,the crea tion of open space intentions,the integration of composite functions,and the synchronicity of new and old elements.Explain the fit point between the theory and the reuse design of the Old Industrial Building.Furthermore,the design strategies of three levels:the integration of site environment,the ambiguity of building space and the continuation of historical context are proposed,and they are applied to the practice of reuse of Old Industrial Buildings.
