Abstract/Summary:
The urban public space is the first choice for the citizens to do after eating and drinking.People can perceive the objective world through sight and hearing.However,the current design of urban public spaces is mostly focused on the visual angle,ignoring the important aspect of auditory and acoustic environment design.The reality is that urban public spaces are currently suffering from noise interference.Studies have shown that a good outdoor acoustic environment promotes beneficial information exchange,and long-term exposure to noise interference can cause a variety of health problems.The soundscape was proposed by the Finnish geographer Granoe.Starting from the concept of soundscape,it does not think that noise is completely useless sound.In actual situations,the noise cannot be completely eliminated.Instead,it emphasizes passing through the soundscape.The design makes the acoustic environment more comfortable.Through literature research,this paper analyzes and summarizes the related concepts of soundscape,the current research status at home and abroad,and the influencing factors of soundscape evaluation,and summarizes the city from the perspectives of soundscape elements and environmental noise control among the three factors affecting soundscape evaluation.Public space soundscape design strategy,namely: soundscape element screening,soundscape element design and environmental noise control.Through the analysis of soundscape design cases in the square in front of Sheffield Railway Station,Yangzhou Geyuan in Jiangsu and Bray Bay in Australia,the common methods of soundscape element design are summarized:borrowing,filling and masking,and using computer simulation to design Carry out auxiliary quantitative design throughout the process On the basis of summarizing previous researches on soundscape design,a soundscape design strategy(CIS)aimed at improving the comfort,identification and symbolicity of the urban public space acoustic environment is proposed.,In order to provide solutions for the soundscape design of urban public spaces.Based on the soundscape design strategy of urban public space targeting CIS,the soundscape design practice was carried out with the urban balcony of Moon Bay in Wuhan as an example.In order to improve the acoustic comfort,recognition and identification of the outdoor square of Wuhan Moon Bay Urban Balcony,firstly,through historical data research,we obtained the characteristic soundscape element of Wuhan: the sound of the siren.Secondly,through questionnaire surveys and field investigations,the preference order of the soundscape elements of the citizens of Wuhan was obtained: water>birdsong>wind blowing leaves and rustling>bells>boat whistle,and based on this,the soundscape elements were selected for design.The frequency spectrum characteristics of fountain falling water sound are obtained through field experiment again.Finally,with subjective factors as the main and objective parameters as the supplement,computer simulation is used to realize the quantitative and refined design of borrowing,filling and masking of soundscape elements in the venue,and combining noise prediction and noise reduction simulation to shape a good Sound field space atmosphere,get a comfortable space sound field experience.
